Customer Review Summary
Firebirds Wood Fired Grill offers mixed experiences based on customer reviews. Many diners praised the service, highlighting attentive staff members like Kimberly and Jomarr. The food quality was varied; some enjoyed dishes like the tomahawk pork chop and salads, while others found issues with portions and preparation, such as small kids' meals and steaks cooked incorrectly. Several guests noted that the wood-fired flavor might not be to everyone’s taste, and some appetizers, like the starter bread and corn and crab fritters, received less favorable mentions. Additionally, while many appreciated the three-course meal value, a few felt certain dishes were overpriced given their quality. Desserts, especially the cheesecake and lemon cake, received positive feedback. Overall, there seems to be a mix of good service and standout dishes, but also some inconsistency in food preparation.

This is our second time dining at Firebirds Grill! The first time I brought my wife for a special occasion, service and food were excellent! Decided to bring my family to have lunch on New Years Day! The service was excellent! Kimberly was very friendly and attentive! Now the food was not that good! My kids' meal little piece of honey garlic chicken was very small for $18! My wife's grilled Black Cod had a lot of bones in it, which she did not finish because she got tired of taking and messing with the bones! @ $30, also the carrots that came with it were hard and not edible. Both of my boys ordered steak, which they asked to be cooked Med. Rare, which were both cooked medium to well! 10oz NY strip $29 and 12oz Ribeye $35. It was not a very cheap lunch for the food quality we received! My son and I did enjoy the mushrooms! The pics that I have included look good but didn't taste the way it supposed to.

So, I wanna start off by saying the food is good but I don’t think I personally enjoy wood fire flavor on my steak. With that being said, if that is something you are interested in, I recommend trying. I had to get a refute on my steak, it was rare and i asked for medium rare. They handled it incredibly well and then gave us free cheesecake after for the troubles. Cheesecake was GREAT! I highly recommend. The appetizers were okay, I thought the corn and crab fritters weren’t bad but maybe just not something I personally enjoy. The starter bread is not the move. Just save your appetite because that was not appetizing. The filets come with bacon wrap on it… like I said earlier if this is something that interests you then go ahead but tbh, not something I personally like.

We wanted to try some place new & decided to try this place! So, we both ended up getting the 3 course meal for I think $40 a piece. Which was a really reasonable price for what your get! I got the Cilantro Grilled Chicken, & she got the Salmon w/ Shrimp. Both plates were nice portions & the food was awesome! I have to also point out the bread that came out, was really interesting and not like any other bread I have had before. It was crunchy / soft w/ like cornmeal maybe sprinkled on top. I might have eaten to much of it. Cause by the time dinner came. I was already getting full. LOL We will definitely be back, cause there was a lot more on the menu I wanted to try. We went on a Thursday night, was seated right away, and food came quickly. There were a lot of seniors at the restaurant that night, which we found a bit odd. I thought it would of been a younger crowd. This is not a knock on the place at all, just not what we expected. So, it was relatively pretty quiet, and relaxing! The Salmon & Shrimp picture is a stock photo as we forgot to get a picture of it, but it is not a misleading photo and is very representative of the dish.

We had a wonderful time here celebrating a birthday. This was our first time coming on a recommendation, and we were not disappointed. The noise level was a little too high, but you come to expect that on a busy weekend night. We had their three course meal, and it was just the right amount of everything.

Food was good. For the appetizer, we got the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. The egg rolls were flavorful and crunchy. My fiancé got the tomahawk pork chop, which was probably the highlight of the dinner. It tasted great with the honey sauce that was glazed over the pork chop. My aged ribeye was also pretty good. Nicely seasoned but was just a tad bit more done than medium-well, but also not quite well done either. Overall, the food was great and so was the service. Our server, Jomarr, was very attentive. Drinks were refilled quickly, and with just a glance, he knew we were ready for the check.

Good food except the sirloin was hard to chew and I didn’t care for the ancient grain pilaf. It was cold but it was served that way. Thought it was regular rice pilaf. The salmon was great!! The tortilla soup was good but it was more like a loaded baked potato creamy soup. Good prices but some things didn’t seem worth the price. Javon took great care of us.

The quote of the table: "This is the best salad I've ever had." Having a salad myself, I could not disagree. The two salads were tremendous in taste and portion. One was the Colorado Chicken Salad, which had wood-grilled chicken, mixed greens, bleu cheese crumbles, San Saba Farms spiced pecans, dried cranberries, Granny Smith apples and a raspberry chipotle vinaigrette. It was beyond delicious. The second salad was the Spinach and Salmon Salad with grilled salmon, applewood-smoked bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, egg and a balsamic vinagrette. The reaction from my wife was, "This is my new favorite restaurant." Other than the salads, the rest of the table ordered Filet and Shrimp with a bacon-wrapped tenderloin and shrimp basted in Key lime butter; and Roasted Garlic Sirloin with wood-grilled center cut sirloin, sliced and topped with roasted garlic thyme butter. Both came with side and both were finished completely. We started with Bacon Deviled Eggs with housemade candied bacon. Great choice. We got Lemon Cake and, Creme Brulee Cheesecake to go. They were both perfect. The service was very good with drink glasses never being empty. We will definitely be back.

First time here after seeing it off the freeway and checking out the menu online. We had the Fresh Lemonade and the Charred Pineapple Aguas Fresco cocktail to drink, and the deviled eggs as an appetizer. All very good and there are a lot of deviled eggs in the portion. For the entree we had the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich with steak fries and the Spinach and Salmon salad. Really good food and enough to take home for leftovers. The service from Ikea was great and the food came out quickly. We'll be back to try other items on the menu.
