Great food. We had a large group of 15. The wait staff handled us very well. Matthew and Janet were amazing. Very attentive to everyone's needed. The porkchop is one of the best I've ever had. The blackened red snapper was awesome. The cheese dip appetizer and the quail were great. I did not get to try a meatball, but was told they too were amazing Overall, it is a great place for a large or small group, a business meeting or an intimate date. Thank you for a great nice.

We went to 1845 for our anniversary last night and I just loved this place! Beautiful and elegant atmosphere, very friendly and caring staff, great food, and variety. They made us feel welcome and accommodated for our special night. I can’t wait to go back again! Thank you 1845 for making our anniversary special!

I met with some dear friends for a late supper. I don't know if it was the company or the food, but it was a most excellent experience! We ordered wine and meat... The pork chop was incredible. It comes out on a little butcher board. It is amazing. Get it, and experience this yourself. The jalapeno Mac and cheese... Slap your mama good. Potato au gratin with the prime rib, just Devine. We were too full for desert. I will definitely be back to sample more of their delicacies. I highly recommend this establishment!

Love this restaurant! Texas themed and they play majority of Texas artists. Knew almost every song. All the food I’ve had the different times I’ve been have been amazing. Today we had a reservation for 7:30 but didn’t get sat till 8 and the manager brought us a glass of champagne each. Appreciated the toast and apologies for the long wait. We started with a Caesar salad. The dressing is home made. Then we split the ribeye and shared asparagus, mashed potatoes and au gratin potatoes. Everything had such great flavor. We ended dinner with peach cobbler. So yummy. 😋

I initially discovered this restaurant on IG. First time we dined here was in March 2023 when we flew into TX to close on our home. After relocating to TX, we became semi-regulars (does dining here once a month count?) We just celebrated our 16th anniversary at 1845. The restaurant has a low light atmosphere but an energetic and vibrant upscale crowd. Parking is self-park or valet. The service is top notch and adds to the camaraderie that permeates throughout the restaurant as soon as you step foot inside and check in at the front of the house. The Pork Belly appetizer with Dr. Pepper glaze is all the commotion and then some, served with fresh baked bread and simply melts in your mouth. The filet mignon I ordered, the prime rib wife ordered and grilled salmon our 8 yo son enjoyed were all cooked to perfection. The drinks were exceptional and if you're too full for dessert, just order a liquid dessert like an espresso martini! See y'all next month!

Exceptional evening at 1845 Taste Texas. The atmosphere was nice - and the restaurant was very busy for a Wednesday evening but the noise level allowed us to easily carry our conversation. The service was attentive without being overwhelming. But the food was the star of the show! I had the seven ounce fillet (cooked to medium rare) and it was the best steak I have had in a long time. The fried jalapeño appetizer was also nice and I loved the pimento cheese (part of the trio). I look forward to coming back soon! Note - there are limited vegetarian options (only the side dishes and salads).

One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Great service, great food, good portions and their cocktails are amazing. The prime rib was cooked to perfection. All sides we shared at the table were top notch. I think the Brussel sprouts and au gratin potatoes were the best. The blueberry crumble desert was amazing.

Delicious! Started with the filet queso appetizer and split a wedge salad. I got a Bonnie Parker cocktail along with a 9oz filet and the jalapeño mac and cheese while the hubby got a 36oz Tomahawk with the Au Gratin potatoes. We wrapped it up by getting a slice of cheesecake, and I had an espresso martini. Absolutely zero complaints! Everything was cooked to perfection, and Christopher was amazing!
