Came in and were seated promptly. Melissa our waitress was so kind and came to our table often despite being super busy. The queso was super flavorful and the brisket was perfect! The chips to me were super salty but my husband did not think so, so it’s no big deal. My husband mentioned that the potato soup was seasoned well and the potatoes were cooked through, he just wished it was creamier. The shrimp was some of the best and freshest I have ever tasted for a steak restaurant. Cooked to perfection and the spice was spot on. Our steaks were good, rough around the middle but otherwise they were decent. Overall, super delicious and well prepared food. Will absolutely come again.

What a wonderful experience! We were seated right away and switched to a booth with no problem. It got very busy shortly after arriving, but that did not affect the quality of our food or our service. We LOVE a good happy hour, and that’s what we got! (Especially in this economy😅) Oh and the house margaritas were 10/10!! 😙🤌🏼

Another restaurant in the books. Here in Denton in a work trip and this Saltgrass location is walking distance from my hotel. I decided I might as well check them out for the first time. I ordered my usual work road trip meal, a 10oz sirloin, Brussels sprouts, fries, and a glass of wine. Everything was fantastic. The Bartender, Willow, was very patient with me and attended to all my needs. The restaurant was somewhat busy but she was still able to keep with the needs of all the guests assigned to her. I will definitely make this location my go-to when in the Denton area.

We came here for a date night, the drinks were amazing and the steaks were really amazing! The highlight of our night was our server Thomas, when my husbands steak was slightly overdone for his liking, Thomas and the kitchen crew were so quick to fix the steak and bring him another, and it was stunning!! The service was incredible. Everyone was so attentive and kind. 10/10, we will be coming back.

The food was ok, but the overall experience left much to be desired. The cleanliness of the establishment was very poor. We had to request someone to wipe our table and benches before we could sit, as they were visibly dirty. When bussing tables, the staff didn’t bother sweeping underneath, and we noticed a large stain from grubby hands in the booth just before leaving. Service was inconsistent. The hostesses didn’t greet us when we walked in, instead just staring at us. When I asked about the wait time, they told me 45 minutes to an hour. I went on OpenTable five minutes later and got a reservation for 15 minutes from the time I arrived. Our server and the person who brought out our food did a good job, but we were overcharged on our ticket and had to ask for corrections. For three people—two entrées, an appetizer, and an extra side—it came to over $100, which felt overpriced for the experience. Overall, the food was the only redeeming factor. With the poor cleanliness, lack of professionalism from the host staff, and billing issues, I would not return again.

We ate dinner the other evening as part of a seminar group. I go to Saltgrass quite often and this was definitely the most disappointing that I've ever had. The server was not at all friendly. My husband asked for a glass of tea and she said oh I'm sorry we're only doing water. We wouldn't have minded paying a couple bucks for a glass of tea, but she never even gave him the option, sorry just water. The whole meal from start to finish just wasn't good. I ordered my steak medium+ and she said she couldn't do that. It is either medium or medium well. So I took a chance and ordered it medium, figure and it would probably be undercooked because they always are. Rare, I mean not even close. I got a different server to take it back and they brought it back within just a few minutes. The manager stood there with it for a few minutes and after a few minutes another lady said oh my steak is burned. Well they took this opportunity to realize that they brought me for rare steak and she was given my medium steak. When they re-cook the rare and brought it back to me, they gave it to her so I still didn't have steak. When they finally brought it, I asked for it in a box because everybody in the group was mostly done except me and I didn't even have a meal yet. I thought the meal didn't look good on the plate. They put a small steak on there with a little bitty scoop of potatoes and it all just looks lost. The two people across from us were laughing because they had big huge scoops of potatoes with the chicken but me and the lady down for me had tiny Scoops with the beef. Took my meal home and put it in the fridge, popped it out the next day to eat it and guess what... not even close. Now remember, this is the second time for this steak to have been ordered as medium, which is a hot pink center. The steak was good the next day reheated, but I sure would have liked to have eaten it fresh with everyone else. I don't find a place for photos today for some reason, so I can't show you my underdone, completely Red rare steak.

Celebrated valentines with my husband on Valentine’s Day here! I am happy that we made a reservation! Place was absolutely packed and I loved that for the staff. I also wait tables and I hope they all did well last night. Our server, I think his name was Johnathon?, was fantastic!! Not only was our food delicious but he was helpful and I felt like he liked his job and really knew the menu. We will be back!! Great experience 🙂

I was pretty disappointed. Our server was over run and overloaded (not her fault) with a huge group that came in (like, 30 people). We just didn’t get the experience we hoped for. I just wanted to have a simple lunch with my family on a Tuesday afternoon. Flavors were fine. Steak was cooked well. Pricing was wack. Shrimp could’ve been used to rebrick the front entrance. I just expected better from a newly opened location of a normally pretty solid lunch choice. Happy to chat if anyone wants to reach out.
