Went for lunch with my Husband. Although it is a BBQ place, I myself cannot eat red meat. The bartender (I cannot remember her name) was AMAZING. She recommended a chicken bowl which was DELICIOUS! My Husband ordered a patty melt and loved it! Would definitely go again!

Took a chance here and loved it. BBQ sauce is special and our super picky kid loved the grilled cheese sandwich We loved thr pulled pork and beans rice. Also the ham w BBQ sauce is great

Went for a quick bite. Split the brisket burger . It was delicious! Service staff was very friendly! Cool hole in the wall place in the downtown area of Denton. Definitely will be back to try other dishes. Also, the beer is served nice & cold! Give it a try!

Whoever was working on 9/20 (I forget names), thank you! The employee who seated me was extremely courteous, and my waiter was kind and attentive. Your employees rule. I ate the smoked tenderloin cheesesteak sandwich with the house chips plus an order of the rooster tails. Everything was great. They have good deals on boozy drinks on the weekend, which was awesome. This was my first time visiting Denton, and I'll probably come back here if I'm in town again! No regrets.

The food was so good that me and my girlfriend barely talked the entire meal. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive, i never felt rushed or judged & the environment of the restaurant was aesthetic & comforting. As someone who’s part of the LGBTQ+ community it is not easy to go to a BBQ place and not feel judged, however Roosters Roadhouse made me feel so welcomed. Great place to dine & I can’t recommend it more!

Truly a hidden gem literally hidden. They're doing roadwork here, so please stop by and support this place. The sandwich was incredible. The services grade. The atmosphere could not be topped. What a fantastic experience in this town Ask for sarah

Cool place to grab BBQ near the downtown square in Denton. Cool vibe & atmosphere, good food & service. I ordered the 2 meat plate of sliced brisket & sausage. The brisket was good…but a little dry, the sausage was okay.
