We ended up here after not having a great experience at another restaurant. We got a table on Saturday night within less than 30 mins. We had the chicken Cobb salad, low and slow chicken, and chicken fried steak. They were all pretty big portions. We took leftovers. 2 out of our party of 3 were celebrating birthdays so we got pecan pie and the chocolate cake to go. Our waiter was really pleasant as well so we ended on a good note. Only thing I can say when it was getting close to closing time we got the stare 👀 like they were waiting for us to leave instead of saying something 😆. We were clock watching ourselves so 🤷🏽‍♀️. Otherwise a good experience. I’d recommend and go back.

This is a fantastic restaurant, perfect for both office and family gatherings. The food is always fresh and delicious, with the onion rings and chicken tenders being standout favorites. We've celebrated my birthday here as well as several office events, and the restaurant has consistently exceeded our expectations. It's definitely one of our family's top choices in Irving.

Another home run by a local eatery. Boss Lady and I came in on a cold Sunday afternoon and were blown away. First off is the decor. It's very cowboy but not over the top. She loved it, and really loved the roaring fireplace. After being seated, we ordered drinks. Their Whiskey Smash is very refreshing. She had a house salad, which was huge. I had a cup of the venison chili with cornbread... Amazing! Even she liked it (she hates wild game) and said the cornbread was the best she's had in a restaurant. She had the New York strip (medium rare) and seasoned fries. The steak was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. The fries were flavorful and crispy. The side of brussel sprouts were equally as delicious. I had the blackened catfish and shrimp with roasted Cajun corn. The seafood was seasoned very well and had a slight char to them. The corn was fresh off the cob and mixed with red peppers and other veg... delicious. Did I mention that the food was delicious? For dessert we tried their chocolate chipotle cake and the bread pudding both with a scoop of iced cream. Both were some of the best desserts we've had! Overall we had an amazing meal, a bit pricey, but well worth the cost We're already planning on coming back with friends and family.

The food at this restaurant was undeniably delicious. The ceviche appetizer was exceptional, (I almost ordered an additional order to go) and the ribeye was sized and cooked perfectly. However, the overall experience was marred by issues with value and portion sizes. While the quality of the food was high, the prices felt excessive compared to similar meals I've had elsewhere. The ribeye, despite its excellent preparation, came with only one side dish, which was disappointing. The side dish, I ordered the Tallow Fries, portions themselves were also quite small, and the draft beer was noticeably less 10-ounce, or at lest it seemed. I understand the concept of quality over quantity in fine dining, but this felt more like excessive cost-cutting. I didn't expect shrinkflation at a steakhouse.(maybe I'll expect it from here on out) The excellent food was overshadowed by the feeling of being underserviced in terms of portion sizes and value. While the steak itself was worth the price, the overall experience left me feeling dissatisfied. I likely won't return, as I can find comparable quality and better value at other restaurants.

Tried out this place before leaving Texas. This place was close to the hotel/airport we were staying at so decided to give it a try. Very pleasantly surprised. Such a warm, comfortable atmosphere. Food GOOD! Steaks were made to how we liked and were so so tender and delicious. Whipped potatoes were amazing. I got an old fashioned and it had a cute Texas shaped ice piece inside. Waiter was AWESOME. Did not catch his name but very attentive! I mean, all I had to do was look his direction and he was walking back to our table to ask if we needed anything! And of course, I did get another one of their amazing old fashioned drinks! Amazing!!! Whenever I go back to Texas, I’ll be sure to stop at this place again.
