About Pappas Bros. Steakhouse - steak house in Dallas, Texas

Customer Review Summary

Pappas Bros. Steakhouse offers a fantastic dining experience with attentive service and a sophisticated atmosphere. Many reviewers praised the exceptional menu knowledge of the staff and the impressive selection of fresh meats. Standout dishes include the lobster deviled eggs, jumbo crab cakes, and wagyu steak, all receiving high marks for flavor and presentation. While some diners found the steaks inconsistent with some noting toughness in certain cuts, overall feedback on the food is overwhelmingly positive, especially for the appetizers and desserts. The restaurant is recommended for special occasions due to its romantic ambiance and high-quality service. Valet parking is available, and the dining experience is complemented by expertly crafted drinks. Though the prices are high, many patrons believe the quality of food and service justifies the expense, making it a top choice for steak lovers in the D/FW area.

Went tonight for a birthday dinner and fantastic experience! Thank you Vanessa A. for the special dining experience. She truly knows her menu knowledge, very attentive & she can describe the features perfectly. We ordered 3 appetizers (jumbo crab cakes 10/10, lobster deviled eggs 12/10 & bacon wrapped scallops 8/10). The Strawberry Basil Martini 8/10 was yummy. I ordered the 10 oz Filet Mignon and that came out perfectly. The sides come separately and would highly recommend the lobster mac & cheese! The dessert we ordered was the Milk Chocolate Mousse & Toasted Marshmallow cake 12/10, which was amazing Definitely will be coming back!!

This restaurant is high standard restaurant. This restaurant is formal dining style restaurant. I went here for my birthday. Everything was absolutely amazing. Valet parking is available. My Servers were demonstrated about the restaurant history and food. Steak and lobster was great. Desert was absolutely high quality. They also have cigar station and bar area. It’s very classic. This place is really romantic place if you want to celebrate special events. It will make your day amazing. I highly highly recommend it here.

Service, staff, atmosphere were all amazing. Couldn’t have asked for any better. The Caesar salad was so delicious with the addition of a huge loaf of bread. Best salad I’ve ever had. Wine and cocktails are on point. Now, the steaks were okay. There braising oil or whatever they use to sear there steaks changed the flavor. We both had the boneless ribeyes and they were tough with gristle in some portions, not what you expect when paying upwards of $70 for each steak. The potatoes au gratin were good but the potatoes were very chunky. It was our anniversary so we received a complementary dessert. For the price, I wouldn’t return, only if our steaks would be better.

This is now my second time I’ve visited this year. Each time I’ve tried a different entree! The filet duo is amazing however the broiled salmon filet took the “cake” and is now my favorite! Don’t forget your veggies and get some of the creamed spinach or the Caesar salad. Be sure to see Alyson behind the bar! She provides a great customer experience and is very knowledgeable of all menu items. Did you know that Texas can’t sale West Coast oysters because they are invasive to the local oyster populations. If you didn’t, now you learned something new, thank Alyson when you see her. Enjoy your visit! I know I did!

Pappas Bros. Steakhouse delivers an unforgettable dining experience from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is incredibly beautiful and sophisticated, setting the perfect tone for a special evening. I loved being greeted by their impressive selection of fresh meat displayed as you enter—an exciting preview of what’s to come. The service here is impeccable. They smartly assign two waiters to each table, ensuring that your glass is never empty and you’re not left waiting for anything. It’s the kind of attentive service that enhances the entire dining experience without being overbearing. As for the food, the lobster deviled eggs were simply amazing—every bit as delicious as they looked. They’re a must-try if you want a starter that sets the tone for the rest of the meal. The drinks were expertly crafted, with perfect flavor and generously poured. Each sip was delightful, making it easy to relax and enjoy the evening. And of course, the star of the show was my wagyu steak. It was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth tender and bursting with rich, incredible flavor. Every bite was a reminder of why Pappas Bros. is so highly regarded. Overall, Pappas Bros. Steakhouse is a culinary experience that excels in both quality and service. From the luxurious ambiance to the exquisite flavors, it's a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in top-tier dining.

Food is pricey but what do you expect! I recommend this for special occasions. This place is one of the bests steakhouses i tried. The ambiance definitely adds for being pricey, but once you tried the food,Mannn, you will be speechless..from appetizers to the main course to the desserts ,their service ...the best!! The sides are shareable too.
