Don Chabe Steak

Super cute sitting area outside. Friday night and immediately seated. Chips can with a red sauce that was okay and cheese dip. Tried a taco with homemade corn tortillas and pastor meat. It was okay. Ordered the Chabe burger and did not even realize it’s steak, not ground beef. For a person that does not care for steak. This sirloin steak was cut thin and had a delicious flavor. So I’m sure the actual steak dishes are just as delicious. They have bands play every now and then. So definitely go check them out and try their food and drinks. Bonus, I was able to see the fireworks from their outdoor seating area.

This is maybe one of the coolest Dallas gems I’ve ever found. Unpretentiously serving up affordable quality, with amazing customer service. This place won’t be hidden for long. The son told me they came immigrated a year ago and within 2 months had this restaurant up and running. Let’s show them some love because wow, this is how you make a great place.

Checked out Don Chabe Steak around 11am and it did not disappoint! Don’t let the small outside fool you this place packs a serious punch when it comes to food! Started out with chips and salsa and their salsa is absolutely fantastic. I ordered the Don Chabe burger and it was a sight to behold. Steak and Chorizo on an incredibly cooked bun with toppings and fry’s. Horchata was pretty good, not the best I’ve ever had but still worth ordering. The vibe when you walk in is authentic Spanish culture which pairs well with the Spanish music they play, the art and the beautiful outside space. Would highly recommend trying this place out if you love everything Hispanic and everything food!

I would like to show support to this small business. The food was amazing, and the environment was great. It is a bit hard to spot around the other big buildings, but you won't regret it, if you are looking for a perfect cut of steak cooked to your liking. The prices for the size of steak are reasonable and the steak was big. Give them a try and give them some feedback. Enjoy🤤😋

Really good- fresh and flavorful. The steak was tender and perfect. But get what you’re in the mood for. Everything we had was delicious. Casual place to get an excellent meal. Really nice outdoor area too. I highly recommend!

Good size potions and a reasonable price. The have daily lunch specials. We got four enchiladas and they were very good. They have free chips, salsa, and cheese dip and they were all very good. I will go back again.

We were visiting Dallas and stayed close to the Deep Ellum, while looking for a place to eat, we found Don Chabe Steak! Thanks, we found them! Are you looking for a fancy place? This is not your place! Are you looking to eat one of the best steaks of your life? That is your place! We had the chance to go three times! The first time we ordered steaks and they were delicious! The second and third times we ordered tacos and they were the best! It is a family restaurant, and they know how to cook! If you like Coke, get the Mexican Coke, it is different! If you want a nice steak, you are going to be surprised, because I like steaks and that is one of the best steaks I ate! Don´t forget to make some space for the Churros for dessert!
