This place is AMAZING. The music playlist was all my favs - Cure, Radiohead, New Order, Joy Division, Duran Duran, Echo & the Bunnymen, just an epic selection. And the food & drinks were superb, don't leave without having the mango marg & the Butcher's steak rare with truffle fries. This was our best meal & experience in Dallas! Much thanks to Adriana & Kirk for their unbelievable hospitality, giving us the highlight of our trip to TX!

The racism that is deeply rooted in the culture of Deep Ellum is prevalent in the treatment of its customers of color. It’s clear that we are not welcome in that area but bring the most profitable business. The owner Jeff has been repeatedly rude and not welcoming when it comes to a specific crowd. Jeff has the accountability of 2 year old. If you want good service, food, and a good time this is not the place for you to attend especially as a person of color in Deep Ellum if you are going to be discriminated against at least get good service for it. NOT SPAM.

Cheapsteaks was a great addition to Deep Ellum. Moderately priced good food with live music. It reminds me of a place that would thrive pre pandemic. If I'm in the area I'll swing back in.

This establishment sucks! The food is gross the owner is rude when I tried to get proper service for my wrong order the owner was no help. He has terrible customer service and should not be doing that line of work if he doesn’t know how to handle situations or even talk to people nicely. The only good thing about the establishment was the DJ. He played great music and maintained a great vibe. The only reason I would go there is for the DJ but other than that I’ll never come here ever again. My brother and I decided to stop in here for some food after a play. He got a chopped steak sandwich, and I got a butcher steak and some drinks. The steak had amazing flavor and was tender enough that I barely had to chew it. The drinks were strong, which is how I like them, and the music was excellent. I will definitely be coming back here.

Where can you get a good steak for a decent price? This is it! It’s a simple steak that comes with fries. They also have other amazing sides. Try their Brussel sprouts! They are tossed in an amazing sauce. They have a nice secluded patio in the back and offer a full bar. They also have an indoor and outdoor stage. This is a great place for a steak fix without breaking the bank! I will be visiting again!

We were looking for a little fun and entertainment in the city, Friday night and a friend suggested this place for us. When I tell you the drinks, food, music and service went above my expectations. Although small the restaurant feels bigger than it is because of the band. Best Jazz band in town! I cant wait to go back!

It’s located in Deep Elm so you can expect lots energy from outside. Small but cozy setting, indoor and outdoor seating. Our service was not good and extremely slow and the crowd was nonexistent when I dined in. My steak was extremely tuff and I asked for medium well not well done. Our drinks were so strong and improperly mixed we couldn’t even enjoy them.
