11/10 This place is truly one of a kind. We went there last night, and it was the best experiences we've ever had, from the service to the food. We received wonderful service from Carlos and he was absolutely delightful and his charm made our night! The food made us awestruck. As someone who loves fine dining, Asador has the best quality and freshest food by far. The freshness with crisp textures were sensory heaven and flavors were immaculate. We give major credit to the Chef for stricly using top tier ingredients (you can seriously tell) and arranging such an amazing menu. Literally everything in the photos were a 10/10 across the board. This place deserves a michelin star and I'm positive they can get one. I ate so much and had no bloating whatsoever, as a nutrtional and gut health researcher I know it's because of the high quality food they use. We sincerely thank everyone for such an wonderful experience.

Asador at the Renaissance Hotel was a great experience for a birthday dinner. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting. Our waiter, Carlos, was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and passionate about the restaurant's commitment to seasonal dishes and locally sourced ingredients. Speaking of the menu, it's a culinary adventure. The ever-changing selection ensures a fresh experience with every visit (And just LOOK at that plating in the picture). I ordered the mushroom tortellini and it was very rich and flavorful. Everything we tasted was bursting with flavor and you could tell the ingredients were top-notch. It's clear Asador puts a lot of care into every detail, from the service to the presentation. Highly recommend for a special occasion or just a delicious night out!

Excellent restaurant in the Renaissance Dallas Hotel near the Market Center. In my experience, hotel restaurants aren't good, but Asador was one of the rare exceptions. Delicious food, well-prepared, and served by a friendly but unobtrusive staff. The diningroom had a quiet elegance--nice for older folks--and we were allowed to take our time. We started with the guacamole, which was tasty, then had the Brisket Burger, Smoked Turkey BLT, and the Smoked Chicken Tinga Tacos. All were great, but the tacos were the standout--absolutely delicious. We also ordered some Truffle Fries and they were crispy and tasty. For drinks we ordered the Old Fashioned and a couple of glasses of red wine. All were good, but the Old Fashioned was the biggest hit. One of the best I've had anywhere.

Exceptional staff that treat you like you're the most important person in the room. The restaurant is beautiful with see in kitchen and everyone always looks happy cooking. Carlos sees us walking in, and he's immediately getting us seated and checking with us on how our day is going. We've had several items on the menu, and nothing we've had hasn't been phenomenal. Wings and tacos are perfect for a light meal, and be sure to ask for rum punch, which Rosie at the bar got me started on. Breakfast is amazing and leaves you plenty full. Management knows us since we've been here so often, and they take the time to check in with us. You won't be disappointed and they are open all day which is wonderful. A must try location.

This restaurant was just what we needed upon arriving in Dallas 🌟 Me and my new colleague, supervisor and friend Veronica had just landed and wanted a delicious steak for lunch. I googled the restaurants near us and it was only a few minutes away so we went. We got this tropical salsa that had a kick of heat and sweet, pork belly and crab cakes. Talk about Scrumdiddlyumptious! The steak ans fries were HITTIN TOO. The only reason i'm not giving it a five stars is because the steak was so good, but it could have been flavored much better. The integrity of the beef was delicious and it was so much so that I ate home.Girls leftovers, two days later because i did not want to see that deliciousness go to waste. 🤣 Some extra salt and pepper went a long way with it. But I would have liked a little bit stronger of a flavoring.

To be honest, I thought I had booked at a different restaurant…. But here we were. Very nice open restaurant and stylish bar. Parking is limited at the hotel but they validate for parking. Drink service was initially slow but I warmed up to our waiter. Cocktails were good. Chips salsa is not free but a generous portion. Tomatillo salsa a tad salty but tasty nonetheless. Compressed watermelon salad was generous and delicious. Enough to share. So refreshing. Loved it. Lamb chops were tasty but the star on the plate was a small enchilada. Salmon entree also flavorful if somewhat crispy. Too full for dessert but a good experience overall. Biggest detractor is that it just feels like a forlorn hotel restaurant, not a destination in itself. Hopefully the clientele and reputation will follow.

Asador is located in the Renaissance Hotel, convenient to downtown Dallas as well as other surrounding areas. The food is delicious and focuses on using local, seasonal and natural/organic ingredients that are fresh and free of preservatives, chemicals and hormones. The cuisine is a mix of Texas and North and South American flavors. The guacamole appetizer is excellent and garnished with pomegranates. One highlight is that they serve meats from 44 Farms, which is a local ranch offering ethically raised and natural beef. We enjoyed the seared salmon verlasso, 44 Farms filet and 44 Farms brisket burger. Many dishes are gluten free and they will gladly make dishes dairy free if possible. The hotel itself is beautiful. When we visited near Christmas, the lobby served warm apple cider and was decorated with gorgeous Christmas trees and other lights. The chandeliers are also beautiful. At the time we visited, they were renovating the restaurant space, so the dining room was set up in a ballroom with a large screen projecting sports games, which was nice. The bathrooms were very clean. Overall, we had a nice dining experience.

The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for both a special evening or a casual dinner. The service was impeccable — attentive and genuinely friendly. Every plate was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend Asador to anyone looking for a unique and memorable dining experience in Dallas.
