Texas A1 Steaks & Seafood Corpus Christi

We were passing through and wanted to try something new. Straight to the point; you’ll get better steaks at a Texas road house. It was pretty empty and our waitress took awhile to attend us. Don’t get me wrong the food looks good, but it was a let down with the flavor.

Omg !! The Greek Salad topped with char- grilled Salmon is to die for ! , glass of Merlot, the a slice of Key Lime pie !! Wow ! All that was left was for my waitress to say ‘ what’s sup! 😄.. never disappoints here , Amazing Service and Quality Food !! Bella was The Best 🙌🙌🙌

Started the meal with Old Fashions. Bartender knows how to make a drink. So good we ordered another for dessert. Ordered the flounder Nueces bay! Delicious. The place has the feel of the good old days with cocktails, appetizers and dinner after a hard day of work. Relaxed and friendly. Waitress knew her stuff and was attentive and caring.

Food was awesome, service was good. Pricing was a little higher than competitors. Only problem I had was the 3% non cash fee. It has been proven time and time again that businesses that absorb this fee into their pricing make more than those that charge it to their customers. Not to mention the fact that it IS illegal in the state of Texas to charge this fee. In my experience, if an owner is willing to break one law, what other laws are they willing to break?

Great place to eat in Calallen ! If your from this area you know there isn’t much to pick from , but this place is wonderful! Food is amazing and great prices! Love coming here for happy hour Monday - Friday from 4-6pm , all their appetizers are 1/2 off and they have great drink specials too !

Some of the best chicken fried chicken from a restaurant that I've had in a long while. The cream gravy it's served with was delicious, as were the 2 sides I chose, FF & House Salad. The FF appeared to have a light coating of batter that really worked well for dipping in an extra cup of gravy on the side. My waitress was very pleasant & a good hostess in every way. I plan to return there next time I'm driving through CalAllenn. There's also a daily special, both food & drinks!

Some of the best seafood in South Texas! Service is always consistent, very short wait times for food, and the food is always great! The stuffed mushrooms were delicious as well! Everything was fresh and PIPING HOT! Can't wait to come back here again!
