I like coming here. I got the chicken fried chicken. It was really good and crispy. The gravy had good flavor. The service was great. Our server was very attentive. They have rolls with cinnamon butter that were pretty tasty. Great place to eat, and you can catch a movie right across the street right after.

Very nice and quiet place. Food was delicious and portions were plentiful. Great flavor . Service was great. Love the smokey bbq atmosphere. Made you want to eat anything that came off the grill. I recommend this place it did get busy but the service was still good.

Flounder Nueces Bay was good. The flounder itself was very good, the "pecan four" and "wine butter sauce" was okay. Not that I wouldn't order the dish again or deter anyone else from ordering it, but think I would prefer the grilled flounder or possibly the stuffed flounder. The dinner salad and green beans were both very good. Nice interior and service was spot on. I will return again to try some of the other things on the menu, for sure one of their steaks.

Food was pretty good but we came on a Friday night so it was pretty packed and service was a bit slow. They had some of the est butter I've had but the rolls were pretty rock hard. The steak was a little undercooked but not a bad cut of meat and the fish was good. I liked the sharing plates ideas that they have made light of trying a bunch of different things. Overall it was a descent experience

Very simple mediocre atmosphere. The service has always been good! NOW THE FOOD 😩 it gets worse each time. Do not go on expecting much! My dinner date ordered the larger cut NY strip. What a fatty horrid piece of steak. We went home and he ate again. Because I’m pretty sure he only had 6oz. Of a 12 oz cut. He kept hoping he’d cut into more meat. But, sadly NO! When the manager came to the table, he offered to make another steak. Mind you it was now 9 pm. No other option was given not even a 10% discount. Just ridiculous. 3rd strike… no more business from us. Pics show the amount of solid fat on a 12oz. Cut! Huge disappointment!!!!

I always try to give this place a chance. And I always get nasty tasting food. Great atmosphere but the food is a no go for me. Paid for a plate I didn't even touch. Had to pick up food on the way home. 🫤🤢

Easy to find with Google maps. I got a steak. My steak was prepared extremely well. The taste was great and steak was tender. My wife got a small chicken fried steak. It was pretty large. She said that it had a real good taste. The service was great. Next time I come to this area, I will return.
