We have eaten at the 1488 locations many times. The food is delicious if not exquisite. The service is timely and friendly. We have used their catering services. They set up the food, served, cleaned up and it was absolutely perfect! The guests were amazed at the food quality and taste. Julio built the menu we requested and we were more than satisfied!

I have to say that everything in this place was delicious. We all tried everyone's dishes and OMG! They are running a Christmas special with 3 course meal (similar to houston restaurant week) and they have amazing options. Recommended. We sat outside and the weather was perfect.

The food,atmosphere,and ambiance is spectacular here! From all of us at Texas Blue Courage Company, thank you so very much! The wife and I came and ate on October 18th at 4 pm. Our waiter was great. The sirloin was perfectly cooked! You have to save room for the crab cake, the best appetizer in the world! We ordered scallops, and they were perfect, too! They have Shiner beer on draft, and it was ice ice ice cold! If I could rate them 11 stars, I would because they are off the charts. Do yourself a favor and check them out!! Out of world service. Food was amazing, tried out the wedge salad and loved it! Spicy chicken pasta had a ton of flavor. Our server Lesley seemed very bothered the whole time she was serving us, a friend in the party I was at asked a question to another staff member and Lesley replied back “is there a problem” which I might of brushed off if this wasn’t a normal thing. We could all tell she just didn’t want to be serving us and didn’t understand why seeing as though we really didn’t do anything wrong, maybe there was other things going on but we were just trying to have a good time and celebrate no feel judged and talked about all night. We were looking forward for the chocolate sphere because we had seen another server do a wonderful presentation, when it came to ours she just didn’t spend any time with it, the alcohol they used to do a fire presentation was way to heavy and couldn't eat the actual brownie itself without getting straight alcohol. Probably won’t be back!

Honestly, I'm really impressed and will definitely be back. Austin was our server, and he was amazing. The food was amazing, and the wine was super reasonably priced, especially on happy hour. Portions are huge on good, too, so it's definitely possible to split entrees. The only complaint is that I wish they served bigger portions of their zucchini.
