This is 1 of the most satisfied meal I had in Houston. I know u may think that we paid for it. But not all 'expensive ' places have both good food & services. I would say I felt very welcome the moment I get off the car. I was greeted warmly. Then we have someone to guide us to our seat. Then introducing us to all the nice food. Issac is the person helping us & whatever he introduced, please just try it. We would like to thank him for his introduction & I will for sure visit again.

My hubby and I had an incredible dining experience at Mastro’s for Valentine’s Day! From the moment we walked in, the ambience was perfect—elegant, romantic, and beautifully set for the occasion. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish cooked to perfection. Our server, Paul, made the evening even more special with his exceptional service. He was attentive and ensured that every detail was taken care of, making us feel truly valued as guests. If you’re looking for a place with top-notch food, outstanding service, and a luxurious atmosphere, Mastro’s is the perfect choice. Highly recommend!

5/5 Stars! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mastro's Ocean Club in The Woodlands on not one, but TWO dates! Both experiences were exceptional, thanks to the outstanding food, ambiance, and service. The atmosphere was sophisticated and intimate, making it an ideal spot for a romantic evening out. But what truly made our experience stand out was the exceptional service from our waiter, Alex. His attention to detail, knowledge of the menu, and warm hospitality earned him an A+ in our books! If you're looking for a top-notch dining experience in The Woodlands, look no further than Mastro's Ocean Club. Be sure to ask for Alex! Highly recommend!"

This place is absolutely amazing. All the staff seem to care about the atmosphere, the customer experience, and quality of the restaurant. I wish more places in Houston were like this. Took my wife here for her birthday, and we were very well taken care of. Mario Valdez and others checked on us constantly to make sure our experience was pristine. Will be back again!

RECOMMEND!!! We are from Louisiana and was in Houston for ministry/our 11th year anniversary. My husband’s friend recommended Mastro’s to us. We wasn’t going to make reservations at first because it was 45 minutes from our hotel. After going back and forth we decided to come and it was completely worth every second/minute on the highway. Everyone we came in contact with was amazing. Our waiter Brent was awesome. He was helpful with everything. The manager Jessica was on duty that night and she took the time out to give recommendations on food and she went over the menu with us. All of the food was great from the appetizers to the dessert. Great atmosphere, great restaurant. We will definitely be back when we’re back in Texas.

I don't dine out at upscale restaurants often but this was a very upscale restaurant that I had super dim lighting and fancy decor. On this Saturday evening, it was packed. Our waiter was overall knowledgeable of the menu. But since this is a seafood restaurant and prices are high, it would have been nice to know what all is wild caught versus farmed. FOOD: Lobster mac and cheese: 4/5 Cheesy but It needed more sauce. Very generous with the lobster meat. The lobster was tender and not overcooked. Texas Red Fish: 5/5 I chose to have it blackened and LOVED IT!!!! Comes with a side of green sauce and it does further enhance the taste but you can eat the fish without it. Asparagus: 5/5 Asked for it to sauteed. Tender and crunchy. Perfectly cooked and seasoned the way I like it. I really enjoyed my meal and would reorder the same way with no hesitation. Not often do I say that as I'm very critical of food. Would definitely like to try more dishes.

Mastros is a cacophony of dark tables, odd lights, chatter, music, noise, crowded spaces, exceptional service, and great food; I'm still decompressing from the experience. You enter a dark space on the backside of a massive bar; if it's daytime outside, it's like stepping into a movie theater. The bar splits the restaurant in half with high-top seating, and I'm not sure I've ever seen a better-stocked bar; it was shocking. There are also live TVs showing sports on each side of the bar, something I'm not used to seeing at a fine restaurant. On Fridays and Saturdays (at least), a live musician is oddly lit with daylight bulbs in an otherwise dark restaurant with warm lighting. The restaurant is packed with people, giving you a shot of disjointed energy as you traverse them. Tables come in various sizes; all the seating is exceptionally comfortable, and the cloth covered tables are set with well-weighted silverware, enhancing the overall dining experience. The two tops are oddly long in size, so, combined with the general noise, it can be challenging to hold a conversation. The entire thing is quite the spectacle. The service staff was fantastic. This kind of restaurant makes you sit up straight and want to be a better person. Still, it's accepting of a casual nature. You can still try your best etiquette here and be in good company. They are eager to help with anything you need. I think I can sum up the staff by their calls of "GUEST!" they relay as you head to the bathroom, ensuring everyone makes way for you, the most important person there, the customer. Some of the "pageantry" may go a bit far... The food was delicious, but you are paying for that; you can expect over $100 per person. The bread basket ($5) was surprisingly fun, and there were several types of bread; everyone could get something they liked. My friend said that none of the dishes are terribly "complex," but they use the best ingredients, which is why they're so good; I have no reason to think otherwise. The steak, clam chowder, and the butter cake were all winners for me. The plates with hot food were hot throughout the meal, including keeping my steak piping hot. The cocktails are shaken at the table when served, and the shaker is left for you; my margarita was served in a martini glass and refilled 2.5 times from the shaker. The drinks were excellent but deceptively strong; I ordered two but only needed one. Compared to other upscale restaurants like Flemmings, Perry's, and Kirbys, Maestros offers a unique dining experience. While it may not be as relaxing as these establishments, it certainly has its own charm. The food is excellent, the staff is flawless, and the energy of the place is invigorating. I look forward to returning, perhaps to a brighter part of the restaurant with a four-top table.
