Came here for a birthday dinner. Really confusing to find the main entrance to this place. We ordered street tacos and cornbread to start. Both were fantastic. I would love the cornbread recipe! My partner had the wagyu chicken fried steak, my mom and Aunt had the salmon platter, and I had the 8oz Fillet. Everyone seemed to enjoy their choice. I ordered my steak medium well and it came out well done and dry. I really did not like any of the steak sauce options, but I went with a peppercorn sauce. It was not really for me. As for the sides, we had macaroni and Brussels sprouts. They were amazing! I would come back just for the mac and cornbread! We tried some sort of banana and ice-cream dessert. I would make a different choice next time around. To finish on a positive note, the margarita was on point!

Food was okay but not executed as it should have been. For a place this expensive I wasn’t expecting the steaks to be under seasoned and the temperatures to be off. For the caliber this restaurant is going for the kitchen was not up to par.

We recently had our son and daughter in laws rehearsal dinner at Porters. I began corresponding with Derek several weeks before the dinner to select menu items, seating arrangements, etc. He was always prompt and helpful to my questions. Aspen was working the night of the dinner and checked on our party throughout to be sure everything was ok. Derek, Aspen, the wait staff and everyone there were top notch. The food was excellent as well! I definitely recommend Porters!

So, I don't write reviews, but this is my second time at the Hotel George and for good reason. The place is amazing and Amber at the front desk is incredible, welcoming and warm. You should absolutely visit Reagan at Porter's. He's very knowledgeable, warm and welcoming at the bar. Trust me, you won't go wrong.
