It was a good place but I expected a bit more for the price. I think they must provide some rice items in the buffet not just plain rice. They have too many meat based items. I would have loved to eat their fried rice for 30$ buffet, they said it’s extra. What kind of buffet does not have their signature dishes in them. Drinks were not free either. My point is for price point you could give something other than just meat. They have good fresh meat. Their sea food is good.

My wife and I went to Gen for our 8th anniversary. We've lived in South Korea for 16 years, so we are always searching locally for new Korean restaurants to try. As soon as we sat at the table, we felt we were in for a treat. The large grill in the center of the table felt very authentic. The restaurant was packed on a Monday afternoon, so it was obviously a popular place. We found an interesting twist once the menu came. The meat choices had unique names such as Carne Asada, and Cajun Shrimp. Once the food came, the names matched the flavor. Rather than using gochcaru (Korean red pepper powder), they use chili powder. The marinade beef and the wagyu turned out to be our favorite. The Beef Tongue was unique but rather chewy. The restaurant was very cold, since they had to try and clear so much smoke from the air. I think their scrubbers need to be replaced because the restaurant was still very smoky. The menu seemed very limited, and the price was very high. We spent $50 each before the tip. That's definitely the highest bill I've received from a buffet. All in all, it was a decent experience with unique flavors. It's worth visiting once, but it won't become our regular spot. And since it was Korean/Mexican fusion, it did not satisfy our need to find a traditional Korean restaurant.

We came here to celebrate my daughter’s birthday! It was packed, but we were able to be seated quickly! Our server was very nice and helpful although she did take long to bring us things, but it was packed on a Saturday so we expected that. It was our first time and barbecue and we loved it. We can’t wait to go back. The sauces are also good. I love the radish. It was the star of the show for me. The only reason I am giving four stars is because when we went to pay the guy, Arnold came to take our payment. He was very rude and we asked a question and he said yes, and it was more of an answer that we were looking for not just a simple yes and so we asked him again and he said wait. I don’t even know what you just said, but he seem to have this cocky attitude which he’s in the wrong field if that’s how he’s going to be because he’s supposed to show good Customer Service. He was the only person there that seemed as if he didn’t want to be there. We were trying to have an understanding that was it. Besides the experience we had with him everything else was good.

I have visited numerous Korean barbecue establishments, but this one was the least satisfactory. We dined there on Sunday to celebrate my son's birthday. Upon arrival, I requested a table for eight and was met with a dismissive attitude, being instructed to wait for the manager. After a ten-minute wait, the manager handed me a menu, mentioned the four starter meats, and told us to wait in the designated area. After fifteen minutes, I inquired about our table's status, only to be told to scan a barcode. I mentioned that I thought we were already signed in, and she assured me we would be prioritized. Despite our attempts to use the barcode, it did not work, and she manually signed us in, stating we would have to wait an additional thirty minutes. It was surprising to see that many parties who arrived after us were seated before us. After thirty minutes, a discourteous hostess escorted us to our table and responded rudely when we requested toddler chairs. On another note The waiter also made errors by bringing the wrong meat, and neglected to ask us if we needed drink refills, and we had to request plate changes and the removal of empty y plates. When the bill arrived, I requested a paper receipt, which took two requests and fifteen minutes to obtain. Additionally, also the smoke in the restaurant was overwhelming, making it difficult to breathe due to insufficient ventilation and the lack of replacement cooking grills. I do not recommend this Korean barbecue restaurant, as my expectations were not met given its high-end reputation. And The staff, from the hostess to the managers, displayed unprofessional attitudes and rudeness.

Although our waiter was the sweetest, everything else was miserably bad. It was very cold inside as the AC was broken, and could see each others breaths. We found a fly in our sauce tray. They didn’t have complimentary water and only had bottle water and then proceeded to charge us anyway. On top the of the water charge, I was given an unsealed water bottle which had significantly less water. Lastly, some of the meat provided was icy and the hot cinnamon pancakes were not available as the fryer was turned off. Overall, a completely disappointing experience and will not be coming again.

Meat flavors were marinated really well however I wish there were more side dishes. Lots of variety for meat choices to choose from the normal (not premium menu). Nice, blue ambient lighting and clean modern interior.

Great place. Service took longer than it should have. Got there before it was super busy. But the meat was taking longer than usual to get to the table. They do have a new premium menu that I would like to try next time I visit.

Amazing food! service was perfect. I really liked every recommendation the waiter offered. It was all delicious. Wish it was more ventilated inside, turned out really smoky and hot inside. If you can put a little discomfort aside, the food was well worth the whole experience.
