Believe me, you want to stop here for great food. The catfish strips were fresh and lightly breaded. So nostalgic. Even the house salad was full of fresh ingredients! Our hostess and server, Jenna were both in really good moods. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here.

We ordered a rack of ribs and the triple threat fajita of chicken, steak, shrimp. If you look at my pictures, that was what was left after we ate all we could eat. All of it was excellent and brought out really hot on a cast iron pan. Our server, China, was excellent and fast with good recommendations even though she was handling a fairly large crowd. They had a good selection of soft drinks, beers including some on tap and my wife got a margarita that was excellent and only $4 we have been paying $15 for a margarita everywhere else in Nashville. The whole evening was very good for a Texas BBQ type restaurant. Even though it was supper time at about 5:30, they were full but still plenty of seating available. No waiting.

Keith took good care of us. He is quite the conversationalist! We had a good chat about music. My fajita trio was just the thing an early Sunday dinner. Serving size was very filling. Sweetie enjoyed her salad with fried chicken tenders.

I was here around 4pm on a Wednesday. There were about 5 other tables occupied in the restaurant. I was seated very quickly, and my server took my drink order promptly and brought the drink back immediately. For a starter, I had chicken wings. For dinner, I had a New York Strip, mashed potatoes and a baked potato. The wings arrived very quickly. There was 8 I think, and I hadn't finished them before dinner arrived. Again, very fast. I know this is being food snobbish, but here's my take on dinner. The baked potato was delicious. Perfectly cooked and properly sized. The mashed potatoes were mid. There wasn't anything special about them. The steak was perfectly cooked to medium, and juice, but had more gristle than I like. Overall, the service was exceptional. Very fast, very friendly. The food was just..... fine. I wouldn't put this on my never again list, but would add it to my in a pinch list.

We really enjoyed or dinner and the AWESOME staff here. Our server was very attentive, the manager was awesome and even the girl bussing tables had a smile and was pleasant. They start you out with hot and fresh bread with sweet butter. As for the food: we had a couple of appetizers including the chips with three dips and the southwest egg rolls. The dip and chips were great, the egg rolls, not so much. Manager happily took them off our bill and offered us a replacement if we wanted. I’m got the ribs + southwest shrimp and it was great. Ribs were fall off the bone and had just a lick of char which added a great flavor. I don’t like a lot of sauce on my ribs so these were perfect! Everything was hot, fresh and fast. We will be back to visit this little gem again on the east side. Prices were great also!

Good was cooked very well. Bog A Burger was really good and the steak was cooked perfect. Prices are reasonable. Had a great server. Only thing I didn't like was the darkened atmosphere. But that's just a preference. Although I will say I enjoyed the history in the booth. I would go back though for sure.

First time ever coming here, my server Jay was amazing- well worded, quick, and you can tell she knows how to do her job :) i am FULL and happy. would recommend.
