Steven and Stephanie made our anniversary dinner so special. They paid attention to everything we said and made us feel at home. They gave us honest good opinions on entrees and made everything so fun! They deserve all the kudos. I don’t have a single complaint about tonight. Thank you everyone!!

Came here for a birthday dinner. There was a live pianist above the bar. Maggie took great care of us. Every staff came over and wished birthday boy. The food was so good, from the meat balls to the ribeye steaks. Seasoned very well and cook perfect medium rare. Sides were yummy too. The decor is very tacky but in a hilarious way. Pink, red, and purple with multiple chandeliers hanging around is a sight 🤣. Would recommend. Free valet & birthday dessert.

My husband chose this restaurant to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and let me tell you—it was absolutely stunning! The ambiance was so luxurious, with countless chandeliers that added a touch of elegance to the whole evening. One of the most special touches was the customized menu that said 'Happy Anniversary'—it truly made us feel celebrated and cherished. And the food? Simply the best I’ve ever had! Everything was delicious and perfectly presented. It was an unforgettable experience, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion.

A perfect dining experience! I sat at the bar and ended up meeting three lovely ladies who shared a glass of red wine. The bartenders were friendly, efficient and on top of their game. The best wedge salad I have ever had! The NY strut steak was juicy, tender and delicious. Overall a perfect 10!

An iconic, old school, semi-national steakhouse; you can see and feel the hard work they put into providing a high-end and meat-centric experience. The service is forward, firm, yet welcoming in a tradional steakhouse style and vibe. The atmosphere is also relatively traditional although the bar area does offer and encourage some dancing on the dance floor, which adds some energy to the restaurant as well as amusing people watching. I found the food itself to be average. The steak was cooked well to my temp preferences, but needed a little more seasoning. The marbling on the steak also appeared a little excessive, which likely impacted the texture. An experience at an established venue like this is not cheap so please be aware. That said, for those who don't mind paying for experiences, Jeff Ruby's is worth a visit.

I used a gift card I had for over a year for Jeff rubies for the take home meal kit for Valentine’s Day. I picked up and they brought it out after I called and was on the side street. It was a huge nice bag full of two huge, thick steaks. Salad, mac n cheese, huge loaf of bread, instructions, butter and asparagus along with disposable cutlery. The directions were easy to follow (just don’t leave the plastic container lids in the oven) and was so delicious. The steak was so tender and it was a perfect dinner.

Walking into Jeff Ruby’s in Nashville is like stepping into a Vegas fever dream. The place is dripping in excess with feathered lights, red velvet, and chandeliers that look like they were ripped straight out of a high-roller suite. Yes, it’s a steakhouse. No, I didn’t order steak. Instead, I went for the lobster gnocchi, because if I’m going to embrace the ridiculous, I might as well go all in. The gnocchi was rich, buttery, and about as subtle as the décor. I also grabbed a sushi roll, because I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, steakhouses overcompensate on their seafood. All the food was fantastic. Would I come back? Of course but, next time, I’m posting up at the bar to watch people in cowboy hats pretend they belong in a place that looks like a mob boss’s birthday party.

Had the BEST experience yesterday at Jeff Ruby’s to celebrate Valentine’s Day! My husband has been wanting to try authentic A5 Wagyu beef from Japan for a while now. I was searching for restaurants in the area that served it and happened upon Jeff Ruby’s, boy am I glad I found them! We made reservations to celebrate Valentine’s Day for their dinner service at 5pm. Not a surprise, but the place was packed when we entered! We loved the vibe of the restaurant. When you first walk in there’s the bar area to the right but the dining area is separate and more laid back. Definitely awestruck by all the beautiful chandeliers throughout the dining rooms, very beautiful. Service was top notch, as to be expected with a higher end steakhouse. Our waitress was so attentive and quick to get us any requests we had. The other wait staff were super fast at refilling our beverages throughout the night, I don’t think we ever had an empty glass. Definitely 5 star service here. For our meals, I ordered the Caesar salad and my husband got the A5 Japanese Wagyu. We also ordered a couple sides: Jeff ruby’s baked macaroni and cheese, Poblano cheddar cornbread and the Garlic Parmesan fries. Everything was delicious! My husband highly recommended the steak. He said it just melts in your mouth - honestly I’m not surprised. The mac and cheese has 6 different types of cheese baked in, and a very thick cheesy top crust. The cornbread was just the right amount of spicy, and not too dense. The fries were good but I think we could do without them next time. Just because they were nothing special, the dipping sauce they come with was good though. I believe it was a garlic aioli. For dessert, my husband and I shared the carrot cake. Honestly out of everything we had tried for the evening - I think this may have been my favorite! Hands down one of the best carrot cakes I’ve ever had in my lifetime. The cake to icing ratio was perfect and it was drizzled with a warm caramel cream cheese icing which made it even more delicious! Overall I would highly recommend Jeff Ruby’s steakhouse if you are looking for top notch service and delicious food. We loved everything about our experience and will definitely come back for future dining experiences. PS - they also have valet parking for guests so definitely recommend utilizing that service if you come!
