Customer Review Summary
Outback Steakhouse has received mixed reviews, with some diners praising the value, specials, and food quality, particularly steaks and desserts. Staff and management are frequently highlighted for their attentiveness and customer service. Some diners enjoyed their meals, noting the delicious fried mushrooms and sides, while others faced long wait times, incorrect orders, and issues with food temperature. Certain dishes, like the prime rib and Blooming Onion, received commendations, whereas others, such as the prime rib sandwich and scallops, were criticized for poor value and quality. A few guests reported significant delays and disorganization, especially during busy times, which led to frustration and negative experiences. Overall, while many customers left satisfied, issues with timing and food preparation suggest inconsistency in dining experiences.

Outback and Carrabba’s are owned by the same parent company. We love the fact that you can spurge at either of these restaurants because they both have some great specials. The limited time steak and lobster special, Tuesday only, caught our attention so we came to this beautiful location. Everything was great except the timing on our entrees was off. The simple salmon was fine but the steak and lobster was not warm enough. I had to send the steak back to warm it up and get it to the desired level of medium rare plus and then it came out well done. The staff and managers were great and asked how everything was but I didn’t complain. The complimentary bread is always good, salads were excellent and one baked potato was great the other wasn’t. For the price I would gladly comeback but we may order our entrees separately. Update Aug 2024 We went back in for a weekday lunch and it was perfect. The fried mushrooms and horseradish were delicious. Wonderful service at the bar! At these prices I couldn’t ask for anything more! Update Sep 2024 We still love the value and the food! Some items are not great choices like the prime rib sandwich. It’s not a good value, the meat is skimpy and still contains gristle and fat that I would normally cut off a piece of prime rib. Just opt for the prime rib dinner instead. Also the scallops were tough and not appetizing in the pasta dish but the grilled shrimp was sweet, succulent and perfect!

I’d like to personally think the manager Erik and the staff for giving us a redeeming experience. Going above and beyond to show us how much they care about the quality of their food but also their customer satisfaction. The lobster was great and surprisingly the side salad was one of the best I ever had.

Waited 2.5 hours for almost half or our order to be wrong, all of it cold, and the cook on multiple dishes were so bad that our server said it looked awful but he said he couldn't have it re cooked because it would take too long. Our server then ghosted us for the rest of the night because he was too embarassed. Spoke to the manager, who comped our appetizer I guess, but every single thing was wrong in some way. Don't come here if you want good food, service or if you value your money. Mind you, we were incredibly understanding and in no way confrontational with the staff.

Took about 45 mins to get food and the order was wrong and had to wait another 20 mins for the right order. The brussel sprouts were the worst. Hard to bite into. I love brussel sprouts. So that was disappointing. The rest was perfect.

Food was awesome and the service was great Our waiter Dev did well checking up on our table who was great. Got refills, more bread and just made sure we had everything we needed. Because of that we left a nice tip! The outback prime rib was really good. First time I've had that and highly recommend. Blooming onions always good and of course, gotta have the bread! This was a random stop my wife and I decided to have dinner at and is rather far from la vergne. Because of our great experience, we will definitely return.

We went to Outback on Feb. 14 for Valentine's Day. We arrived at 5:30 PM, gave our name (Smith) to the host, and were told it would be a 25-minute wait. The lobby was crowded and claustrophobic, I asked if we could wait in the bar. We preferred not to eat at the bar. We ordered drinks and confirmed with the bartender that the tab could be transferred to our table. At 6:00, I asked the hostess about our wait time. She said it would be another 25 minutes and took my cell number to notify us when our table was ready. By 6:30, we decided to eat at the bar. I told the hostess, who mentioned that there were too many "Smiths" and everyone was eating at the bar. Despite having my number, she never texted. Runners brought food to the bar but seemed disorganized. A runner offered a blooming onion, which we claimed. At 7:00, I noticed a couple who arrived 15 minutes later already had their salad. The bartender asked a runner to bring me a side salad with ranch dressing, but it came with what looked like mayonnaise. I ate it because I was starving. At 7:30, the couple who arrived after us got their food. The bartender said someone else had paid for our food and said he didn't know if we would eat. We asked for dinner, but the bartender said it would be another 45 minutes. Frustrated, we decided to leave. I told the hostess we had been waiting for two hours. She ran to the back and returned, offering something unspecified. Distrustful, I told her we wanted to go home. As we left, my wife shouted to the waiting people that we had waited for two hours and were told it would be another 45 minutes. That was the first time we acted rudely.

Emalee was such a wonderful server for our Anniversary dinner! She was super friendly, warm, welcoming, and took the time to get to know my partner and I! She answered every question we had, and made sure to check with the cooks to see if any of our dishes had ingredients that my partner can't eat. The food itself was really great, and our steaks were cooked to perfection. It was my first time having the "Tim Tam Brownie" dessert and it was wonderful! This was my favorite experience at Outback, and I would love to have Emalee serve us again in the future! (Google is weird, 5 stars across the board for Food, Service, and Atmosphere)

My chicken Wings had too many feathers Besides that the service was nice Manager was present and attentive I got my food to go and didn't notice the feathers until later but I know they would have corrected it if I was still there. Stingy with the fries but fresh Chocolate brownie thing was delicious
