Customer Review Summary
Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar delivers a standout experience for special occasions, noted for its warm atmosphere and excellent customer service. A recent birthday celebration impressed guests with thoughtful touches like a birthday card and complimentary desserts. However, there are significant concerns about declining service quality, highlighted by dirty dishes, incorrect drink orders, and slow food delivery on busy nights like Valentine’s Day. While the steaks generally receive praise for quality, issues with cooking and side dishes exist. Some reviewers found the atmosphere appealing and menus well-received, while others noted problems with staff knowledge and food handling. Overall, the restaurant has received mixed feedback, balancing memorable experiences with service inconsistencies.

We recently celebrated our son’s birthday at this wonderful venue, and I can’t say enough good things about our experience! Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a delightful surprise, a happy birthday card adorned with confetti that made our son feel extra special, followed by a sweet treat! The service was excellent; our server was incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. It truly made the occasion memorable. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and all the little touches really added to the celebration. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our son’s special day. Thank you for making it such a joyful experience! We will definitely be back!

The service has fallen completely off and this place has turned into the most expensive Outback Steakhouse in Nashville. I know they are owned by the same company, but WOW! -Dirty Dishes. 1st Cups had crusty bits of food all over the outside felt like sand paper. Second set of cups had large crusty food bits inside my wife’s cup and on the outside of mine. Table next to us had the same issue. Plates were streaked with residue. - Ordered bottle water and got tap. They apologized, removed the tap water and didn’t return until after we ate our appetizer. Had to ask another waiter for it. - Piled up Dirty dishes left on the table after the waiter and manager stopped at table. - Boxed our own food (wasn’t always this way. Been coming here for 10+ yrs) had to ask host for a bag since waiter disappeared. - R&B music playing on the speakers was out of place. Steaks were fine but the sides and desserts were underwhelming and bland. I go expecting to spend $300+ for 2 people and that was fine for previous service and quality. However, I will be exploring other options as this is no longer acceptable for the 2nd time this yr.

Good food with subpar service. We visited on valentine's day with a reservation. We were seated after our reservation time and waited about an hour before any food arrived. Our server didn't come by very much during this time, so at points we were without anything to drink. We had the New York strip, filet, and crab legs with sides of mashed potatoes and mac n cheese. The strip was good for the most part - it wasn't evenly cooked so some of the fat was unrendered. The filet was also cooked not according to what we requested. Crab legs were fantastic - oddly their burner for the butter didn't fit the candle, so our butter boiled and popped everywhere until we removed it ourselves. The server didn't really believe us either when we brought it up. Sides were good, especially the mashed potatoes. The mac n cheese was uneven though, some pieces were dried out like they went in the oven without being totally covered in sauce. Despite the issues with how the steaks were cooked, the quality of the meat meant they were still great. Quite frustrating that on Valentine's day, a night where I imagine the whole place is booked in advance, they couldn't run on a good schedule.

Flemings deserves nothing less but 5 stars for their Nashville location! My family went to celebrate my brother in laws birthday last night and it was a wonderful experience. Our server was very attentive and made our dining experience enjoyable. He was a friendly gentleman who knew the right times to come and check up on us and when to let us enjoy our meal. Great customer service! My sister and brother in law did the Tomahawk Tuesday course which was a 28 oz USDA Prime Bone-In New York Strip, 6 oz Filet Mignon sliced & served with trio of artisan finishing salts along with two starters, two sides & two desserts. The manager was kind enough to substitute the Bone in steak for another petite filet mignon. My husband got the sweet chili calamari for appetizer and the beef ribeye steak. We also got the Onion rings, Flemings potato’s and Chipotle cheddar Mac and cheese for sides. Everything was absolutely delicious. Very hot and freshly made. They even brought us a couple of fresh loafs of bread along with a champagne butter and pumpkin butter. For desert my sister and her husband got the Crème brûlée and Molten lava cake. My husband and I shared the carrot cake. Very tasty! I love that they have little bits of pineapple in their carrot cake. It’s different than the typical recipe and I like it. They also brought out a cute little Happy Birthday plate for my brother in law with a small box of truffles. And didn’t charge for their two desserts which I’m assuming was complimentary since we dined at Flemings for my brother in laws birthday. Overall we had a FIVE STAR experience and I definitely plan on coming back for future visits. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quality steakhouse in the Nashville area!

Daniel = 100% Also the service was wonderful, not rushed. Wonderful suggestions with a very calm and enjoyable atmosphere. There was no rush to eat, and the meals were able to be truly enjoyed with table conversation.

Let me start off by saying I heavily frequent blooming brand restaurants, Outback Steakhouse specifically. Food is always spot on and service is excellent. I came to Flemmings since my friend recommended it to celebrate a special occasion. It wasn’t peak time/busy so we were sat immediately. The layout of the restaurant was super nice. Our server came by, she was very nice but seemed fairly unknowledgeable about some specifics. Not a major big deal but sort of expected her to know more as it is a higher end restaurant. Cocktails were absolutely stellar so props to the bartender. Appetizers were amazing as well. Server was attentive and professional. I decided to order the 8oz filet mignon as that’s my typical go to whenever I get steak. I asked for medium- and they brought me an almost charred filet. It was not cooked correctly and tasted poorly for a filet cut. I had them cook up the steak and it came out even worse. It is a $60 steak with zero sides and absolutely disappointing. The manager was kind enough to comp the steak. Will never return however, as the steaks they use are the same standard and quality as Outback- but still managed to ruin the filet.

Fleming’s continues to be a go-to steakhouse with great seafood and appetizers, a full bar and a good wine list. The interior is a dimly lit, cozy steakhouse. The French Onion soup is excellent. The Beef Carpaccio mustard sauce is light and tasty; the Colossal Jumbo shrimp are large and fresh. Ask them to warm up the frosted Carrot Cake, makes it even better! Service at the bar is very good.

Always an amazing experience! In August we visited, at the time they had a cocktail on the list that, since then has been removed. They tried a few times to recreate a specific drink that was amazing! Today was our lucky day, the bartenders and manager went above and beyond to find the recipe and remake the drink. This is just 1 example of how the staff goes that extra mile to make sure we are taking care of. 5 stars!!! Thanks to Jessica & Greg!
