Upscale food with a relaxed environment. The restaurant is oil and gas themed. The staff are always very friendly and the food is top notch. My favorite part is that I don't feel like I have to get dressed up to go eat a lobster tail. People come as they are, wearing overalls and work boots. We arrived early (they open at 5pm) and people started lining up at the door at 4:30. So be prepared to wait if you don't go early.

There was a wait for a table (Fruday at 7pm), but once we got seated, service was very good. I can't say enough about the food, though. Their famous tomato soup is so hearty, that it's almost a chili. The steak was cooked perfectly -absolutely melted in my mouth. Veggies were also excellent- green beans and glazed carrots.

I came for the "Gusher" and needed to share as 22 oz is too much. I would drive four hours again just for the tomato soup. Unbelievable how good a soup could be but it was fabulous.

I have been to Spudder on a few occasions over the years. The portions were large and prepared to perfection. However, my boyfriend has never dined here before...so when he asked where I wanted to go for our anniversary dinner I chose Spudder. I made such a fuss over how great the meat selections were, and sadly ended up eating my words (pun intended) When our meals were served his ribeye was as thin as a breakfast ham. It was so thin it couldn't even be cooked at a proper medium temp, it ended up well done. The photo I attached shows my KC strip on the right cooked medium well and his ribeye on the left cooked medium. He's not one to complain, but at $50 a plate I will!! So I said something to the waitress and she basically told us it's cut to weight and implied there's nothing wrong. About 10-15 minutes later the manager was making his rounds so I asked him what he thought and he was in agreement it was cut too thin. But to my surprise, he didnt offer up anything else! However, the waitress did circle back and give us a free slice of pie. Which I don't think is a fair exchange for a botched $50 ribeye cut. The rest of the food was exceptional, but unfortunately the botched cut and the lack of effort to make it right was unacceptable.

Are you looking for premium food without an inflated price tag? Well, this may be your next date night spot. We enjoyed a steak cooked to perfection, loaded spuds, and salmon. Yum!

Nestled in Tulsa, The Spudder restaurant offers a unique dining experience that combines rustic charm with top-notch cuisine. On my recent visit, I had the pleasure of trying their KC strip steak, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The KC strip steak was juicy and perfectly cooked to my liking. Each bite was a delightful blend of tenderness and rich, savory flavors. The steak had a beautiful sear on the outside, locking in all the juices, while the inside remained succulent and flavorful. The hickory smoke flavor added a wonderful depth, making every mouthful a true delight. Accompanying the steak were sides that complemented the main dish perfectly. The potato soup was light and garlicky, a pleasant surprise even for someone who typically isn’t a fan of potato soup. The salad, though a bit heavy on the dressing, was fresh and crisp. The bread rolls, served in a charming old lunch box, were a fun touch, though a bit on the hard side. The ambiance of The Spudder is another highlight. The restaurant is adorned with oilfield memorabilia, giving it a cozy, nostalgic feel. The service was attentive, despite the busy evening, ensuring that our drinks were always full and our needs promptly met. Overall, The Spudder is a gem in Tulsa, offering a dining experience that is both unique and satisfying. The KC strip steak alone is worth the visit, and I look forward to returning to explore more of their menu.

I have look forward to eating here for some time! So many Tulsa locals have recommended Spudder! Family owned. Clean, quick and delicious. The staff is amazing! Suck large portion sizes! We are in a food coma! Best tomato soup I've ever had. Best bread pudding I've ever had. Unique and super delicious stuffed mushrooms. Its worth every penny!

Our anniversary dinner was great. Friendly casual atmosphere with 5 star cuisine. You have never had potato soup like this. Bread was fresh and the Ahi tuna was flavor packed. The star of the meal was the Rib Eye. Best steak I have had in many years. We will return. Kudos to our waitress April and the Owner Steve. Both were true foodies like myself. Here’s the kicker….my wife picked this spot! I love her!
