Customer Review Summary
Mixed reviews for Bison Steakhouse highlight both positive and negative experiences. Many customers praised the food quality, especially the blooming onion, steaks, and various side dishes, with some describing meals as flavorful and well-cooked. Portions were noted to be large, and service was frequently highlighted as excellent, with specific waitstaff commended. However, there were significant issues with food preparation, as some diners received steaks cooked incorrectly and soggy fries. I’d give this restaurant 4 stars for the food but considering we ordered 30 minutes before close and the service and atmosphere were wonderful I’m going with 5. It was our first visit. The portions are large. The rolls were fresh and delicious. The steak fries captured my olfactory curiosity so I added them as my second side (along with a house salad). The rice and salad tasted great. The salmon was a tad over seasoned but still enjoyable. My boyfriend got the steak with a loaded baked potato. I’m not opposed to going back and trying more menu items. Not super impressed but not disappointed either. Our waiter, Thatcher, treated us feel like regulars, we enjoyed his kindness and humor.

This was our first time here, and sadly, it turned out very meh for a few reasons. On the positives, the staff were nice, and the blooming onion was one of the best I have ever had. Outside of those positives, everything else fell flat. My daughter and wife ordered the Bison burgers, medium rare - both came out very well done. My steak was ordered medium, and it came out closer to rare (outside was seared very well, but extremely rare on the inside). The fries all came out extremely soggy, and all of us ended up just leaving the fries behind because they were just so meh. We also had issues with even getting items, such as having to ask 2 separate times for ordered drinks (alcoholic) --- maybe a 15 minute gap before getting the drink ordered. The same thing happened with our sides, as when the food came out, sides were missing. If it wasn't for the blooming onion, this would have probably been a one-star situation. This place has extremely nice reviews, so hopefully, this was just an extremely rare situation, but first impressions are very important, and this didn't go well.

Hubs and I stopped in for lunch. Both items that we ordered were from the lunch menu. We hadn’t been there before and wanted to try their menu. I got the grilled pork chops- tender, juicy, and flavorful. Hubs got the potato with bison chili. We both got the Brussels sprouts. I got rice and hubs got Mac. We both left stuffed, and still have a pork chop, the Mac and cheese and one side of Brussels sprouts for later. Price was about $35 for both before tip.

Excellent meal after work with my wife. I had a steak and tenders combo while she had the spinach artichoke chicken. Both were tasty but I always love a nice steak dinner. She didn't care for hers as much so we shared my combo and kept the leftovers for lunch the next day. Overall a good experience; we'll be back.

We loved this place. Food was great, steak cooked to the perfect temperature which rarely happens. Excellent cocktails and whiskey selection. Exceptional service. Ashley and Naomi took great care of us. Highly recommend.

This was my first time here and let me tell you I was BLOWN away! Not only was our waitress the absolute BEST, but the food was EXCELLENT!!! We originally were going to Texas Roadhouse but the wait was too long so my husband suggested we go here and oh my goodness THIS is my go to steakhouse from now on. I got the spinach artichoke chicken and my hubby got the ribeye. We got Mac and cheese for my toddler as well. This was absolutely the most flavorful delicious meal I’ve had in a LONG time. The restaurant is decorated so nice, the noise level was low, the service was 10/10 and the food was incredible. Don’t miss out on this spot!

We have never been here before so decided to try it for my bday as we have seen and heard a lot about it! Service was amazing from ASHLEY and the food AMAZING! Worth every bit of 5 stars and the price we paid!

First time for wife and I on a date night. Started with cold Ultra draft and Potato skins. Skins were just ok. Wife got Chicken Fried steak with house Salad and loaded baked potato and loved all three. I had the Cowboy Ribeye with sautéed mushrooms on side, house Salad and mashed potatoes. steak was medium just like I asked, had good flavor and salad, mushrooms and mashed potatoes were good. Service from Thatcher was great. Very attentive, very helpful, and full of personality. We will definitely be back.
