Customer Review Summary
Saltgrass Steak House offers a mix of exceptional and mediocre experiences. Many patrons rave about the delicious steaks, perfectly cooked to order, along with standout dishes like shrimp and artichoke pasta and crab cake appetizers. Service tends to be highly praised, especially when attentive servers like Jaime and Josh are on duty, enhancing the dining experience. However, some guests report poor service, with issues like long wait times, incorrect orders, and unresponsive staff tarnishing their visits. Cleanliness and atmosphere generally receive positive mentions, but inconsistent experiences regarding food quality and service have left some customers hesitant to return. Overall, while many recommend the steakhouse for its food and some outstanding staff, concerns over service reliability could be a drawback for others.

I recently received take out from Saltgrass Steakhouse, and it was an exceptional experience! The steak was seasoned to perfection and cooked rare, just how I like it—tender and bursting with flavor. The steamed broccoli was perfectly done, maintaining that ideal balance of freshness and softness. The fried shrimp was delectable, with a crisp coating and juicy interior. However, the true star of the show was the warm, soft brown bread. It was the perfect start to the meal, with a slight sweetness and a melt-in-your-mouth texture. I’ll definitely be returning for another memorable meal!

A very clean and well presented steak house. I ordered the house salad and the Texas T bone steak. Both were great. I was attended to by a very polite and professional young gentleman called Whiles. I recommend this steak house and suggest when being seated, you ask to be seated in the section where Whiles is attending. First class service. Richard, from London England.

Back for my weekly ribs and green beans! As usual delicious, perfectly packaged. And Jaime’s over the top service, remembering my order and adding extra dressing even though I forgot to ask. Thank you

First time eating here, I do not feel it was any better than other steak houses. It was just ok. I had chicken and fries. I do wish they would warm the bread. It was very dry. I would go back, but it also isn't a place I would go out of my way to eat at, only if I was already in the area. The waitress was new, but she was attentive and was trying her best to accommodate us.

Had a great dinner here with my soon-to-be ex-wife and my friend Eric celebrating getting a loan that was supposed to help us repair our home so that we could sell it and buy a new home within the Cherokee Nation but unfortunately due to let's just say a disgusting civil matter if not criminal matter that has all imploded at this point. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was good but the food was less than good unfortunately.

Dinner was delicious!! Highly recommend the Shrimp & artichoke pasta. They give you plenty with an option of soup or salad. The server Eddy was very attentive, great customer service.

The food was delicious, my steak was perfectly cooked, medium rare, my husband really liked his fish and the crab cake appetizers were the best we've ever had! The wine topped it all off! Josh, our server was such a pleasant, kind person. He gave us great advice on the wine and food and was just nice to chat with. Nice touch that the manager also checked in on how we were experiencing everything!

I gave Saltgrass a second chance, but this visit was even worse than the first. Two weeks ago, I came for lunch—the steak was good, but the service was terrible. The waitress was constantly missing, and I had to track her down. To make matters worse, I was charged for items I never ordered or received, requiring a manager to correct the bill. Tonight (Thursday, 5 PM - 6:40 PM), I returned, hoping for a better experience. The restaurant was nearly empty, yet we were seated right by the kitchen door. When I requested a different table to hear better, the hostess abruptly responded, "Let me see if that is okay." Not exactly welcoming. We waited and waited before our server, Britt, finally appeared. Since we already knew what we wanted, we placed our order right away: one medium-rare steak, one medium-well, no cheese on one salad (due to an allergy), and mashed potatoes. Things went downhill from there. The salads took forever, and when mine arrived, it was covered in cheese. I had to scrape it off myself. Immediately after, our steaks came out—40 minutes into our visit. The medium-well steak was cooked correctly, but the medium-rare was well done. With no server in sight, I got up to return it, only to find several servers standing around while ours was nowhere to be found. Another server agreed the steak was way overcooked. When Britt finally returned, she argued that I should just switch steaks because the medium-well had a “little” pink. Absolutely not! A sliver of pink does not make a steak medium rare, and it was still cooking as it sat. Instead of fixing the mistake, she kept arguing. I was ready to leave. The manager finally appeared but simply dropped off the correctly cooked steak without a word—no apology, no acknowledgment. The only person who showed any concern was the other server who had helped us. The mashed potatoes came with an absurd scoop of butter on top, but at this point, I was over it. Once again, our server disappeared. When she finally returned, she announced we were getting a “free” slice of carrot cake. We declined but asked for to-go boxes and the check. Instead of listening, she insisted on bringing the cake. Then… nothing. No check, no boxes, nothing. The other server returned and admitted we had received terrible service and said he would talk to the manager. It took another 20 minutes before our check and boxes arrived. By then, I was done. I told Britt I wasn’t waiting another half hour for her to process the payment and that I’d take it to the bar if needed. Suddenly, she took care of it right away. This was an absolute disaster. The service at this location is completely dysfunctional. There will not be a third chance.
