Great family dinner tonight. Made our reservations online and received a text when our table was ready. The wine and cocktail menu is expensive with so many fantastic options. The family all had a steak and we shared 3 sides. The bread they brought out was warm and so tasty. My only complaint would be the brussel sprouts. They were cooked perfectly but had cranberry or something in it that tasted like cough syrup to my daughter and I. Unfortunately the menu has no mention of this addition.

This place was classy! Felt like we were in a movie. We will be dreaming of the food until our next visit. Compliments to the chef!! We tried the beef tournedos as an appetizer, a couple cocktails, the lamb chops, the filet mignon, and shared the Brussel sprouts and garlic mashed potatoes as our sides. Finished off the meal with some New York cheesecake. Everything we tried we loved!

Heard good things about Opus Prime and finally was able to give it a try. As I expected the ambience was very cozy with candle lit tables and relaxing jazz music. Stated with the tuna appetizer as well as the beef tournedos. Both were excellent. Followed that with a French onion soup which was par for the course. For my entree I had the carnivore which is 4oz filets of bison, filet and waygu. All cuts were fantastic. The main reason I'm giving 4 stars out of 5 is price. In general I feel the pricing is 20-30% too high for the overall quality. Still, I thoroughly enjoyed myself!

We tried this for our 30th Anniversary and could not be more pleased. The atmosphere was perfect for the occasion from the soft glow of the gas lanterns to the intimate U shaped booth seat that allowed us to be close enough to share! We learned Chef Ryan is fairly new to the restaurant but the filet was seared to perfection and the perfect temperature. (no knife required) It was tender enough to slice with my fork! The sides were amazing also proving no detail was overlooked. Everyone knows nailing the food quality and ambiance is only part of the equation when seeking a worthy food establishment. But we found Opus met the trifecta as the service was above and beyond. Micah’s 20+ years experience showed as he was attentive but not invasive and his knowledge and recommendations superb! We got to shake hands with Chef Ryan as well as the Owner, Bill. Our night was completed by a surprise dessert! Photo below. I WISH I had thought to get pix of our entire meal but we were busy relishing the experience. I 100% recommend Opus for your dining pleasure. I have frequented other top scale steakhouses in the OKC metro and feel we found a diamond in the rough!

What a great experience! All of the food was perfect as were the cocktails and prosecco. Great gluten-free options including bananas Foster AND flowerless chocolate lava cake. Simply amazing. Katie was our server and she was attentive, knowledgeable, and fantastic! We'll definitely be back for date nights. I was so impressed I will probably bring some of my work groups as well. The new chef apparently knows what he is doing cuz everything was perfect to the T.

Disappointing Experience at Opus Steakhouse – Overpriced and Underwhelming I recently dined at Opus Steakhouse for my birthday, hoping for a special meal. While we had a 6:30 PM reservation and were seated immediately after arriving at 6:20 PM, the service and food quality fell far short of expectations. Service Issues After being seated, we waited 10 minutes before our server arrived to take our drink order. She did not ask about appetizers at that time. When she returned with water, we ordered both an appetizer and our entrées. From there, the experience went downhill. • No bread was served initially, and I wasn’t sure if it was supposed to come, but it felt like an oversight. • The appetizer never arrived before the salads. I ordered a wedge salad, and my wife had the signature house salad—both were fine but unremarkable. • When the entrées arrived, we were given carrots—a side we never ordered. • At this point, I inquired about the missing appetizer, and our server apologized. However, our water glasses and bottle were empty, and despite placing the bottle in plain view for a refill, she never did. • Another staff member finally brought out the appetizer, claiming it was “fresh out of the oven,” but it was lukewarm at best. He also brought bread and refilled our water, which was appreciated since our server was rarely around. • When the check arrived, we were charged for the carrots that we never ordered, which my wife had to request be removed. The appetizer was comped, but at that point, we didn’t get to enjoy it as intended. The Steak Disappointment For my birthday, I wanted to try Wagyu for the first time, as I typically only order filet mignon. I’ve seen countless videos of Wagyu and have always wanted to experience it. I ordered the Wagyu filet ($125), while my son got the 7-ounce filet ($52). Don’t quote the price. • My Wagyu filet did not look or taste like Wagyu at all. It lacked the rich marbling and melt-in-your-mouth texture I expected. • My son’s standard filet was significantly better than my Wagyu filet—more tender and flavorful. • For the price, the Wagyu filet was a massive letdown, and I would not recommend it. Sides – Bland and Forgettable My wife and daughter mainly had lobster mac and cheese and risotto. Neither impressed: • The lobster mac and cheese was completely unremarkable—the lobster was chewy, and the dish lacked depth of flavor. • The risotto was bland and forgettable. Final Thoughts The food was fine at best, but the service and overall experience were disappointing. For a restaurant with this reputation and price point, I expected much better. Between service issues, a disappointing Wagyu steak, and bland sides, the meal was underwhelming. Would I return? No. There are plenty of steakhouses that deliver better food and better service for the money.

Last-minute date night, and we decided to go to Opus Prime. Upon walking inside, we were greeted and asked if we had reservations. We stated no, and the young lady said it was ok. They are pretty slow today. Follow me, and we were seated by the window upstairs with a lovely view. Once our waiter arrived, we told him this was our first time here and what he would recommend, and that's exactly what we ordered. As time went by, the crowd started to roll into the restaurant. Finally, the food came out pipping hot and well seasoned. The light was dim, making the night more on the romantic side 💕The wine caller wall is beautiful. We will return

Really enjoyed my time, the service, the food, and the wine. Great dinning experience. Wife really liked her buffalo steak and I enjoyed my 8oz filet with peppercorn sauce. Had the crab cake appetizer, which was mostly crab and not a bunch of breading. Parmesan risotto and asparagus with hollandaise sauce were excellent sides. Went with the merlot instead of the cab and it was a nice change. The chefs salad had an unexpected heat that was most welcome. Tried dessert and after dinner cocktails, and everything was excellent. Spent quite a bit, but I feel like it was worth it. Great time, plan to visit again.
