Went here to try the chicken fried chicken. It was absolutely amazing!! The chicken had the perfect amount of seasoning, fried to perfection, and the gravy was sooooo good. The mashed potatoes were on point and the carrots were also very good. I would 100% recommend coming here! I will be back!

Charleston’s Restaurant, located near the state fairgrounds on South Meridian Avenue in Oklahoma City, is a casual dining establishment featuring burgers, steaks, and chicken plates, and more. We arrived for dinner shortly before 5:30. The restaurant was moderately filled, and we were able to get a table immediately. After ordering our drinks, Carson, our amiable server, explained their evening's specials before taking our order. I selected the medium-cooked, 7-ounce hand cut filet, which was hardwood grilled and served with a loaded baked potato and house salad. The meat was flavorful and grilled perfectly. The potato was soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, and indeed loaded, the shredded cheese, bacon, and sour cream overflowing from the top. Another selection was Walt's Champagne Chicken Salad, featuring mixed greens, pineapple, dates, feta, strawberries, spiced pecans, sunflower seeds, house-made croutons, and champagne vinaigrette. As one can imagine, the plate was an explosion of different flavors, yet well-balanced, with the pineapple particularly standing out. The dish also came with a house salad. The only negative experience was the potato soup, which was tasty, but a bit cold. On a side note, one must also try their croissants, which are very fresh and melt in your mouth. Overall, Charleston's was a pleasant experience. Although the restaurant's interior is somewhat classy, the atmosphere was very relaxed, and all the patrons appeared to be enjoying themselves. This by itself is a good indicator of a restaurant whose aim is to please.

Most excellent experience. I ordered a salad and I'm a salad snob as I like it my way. Perfection!! The waitress got my requests correct and the kitchen delivered. And the croissant was melted in your mouth delish. Great dinner.

Had a fantastic time at this location. Got seated right away. Wait staff was prompt took our drink orders and we ordered the queso. The chips were so thin and crisp and the queso was smooth with chunks of avocado, peppers and a little sausage. I ordered the special 10oz fillet with baked potato and garden salad my two companions both orders the sirloin with the ba ked potatoes and garden salad. Salads can out and had this light super fluffy croissant that seem to melt in our mouth. The salad was nice and crisp. The meat and potatoes came out next. The meats were all cooked to the temps ordered. The fillet had that great taste of being cooked over the wood fire, had great grill marks and every bite was juicy. The baked potato was meh. It was loaded with cheese butter but seemed more like twice baked potato. It might have just been take on the baked potato. The fillet and sirloins were eaten first and then the potatoes. We did add a dessert. We got the carrot cake and the key lime pie. Both servings are huge, definitely a sharing size. The key lime Pie was delicious! The whipped cream on top oh so good. The pie filling had that great taste of the lime but not so overpowering you didn’t keep going back for more. The crust was great not too thick and had a great nutty flavor. The carrot cake was great a thick layer of icing that rolled over the edges of the pice of cake. Definitely will be going back to check out my local Charleston and if in the area will be going back to this one.

Wittany Kess was our waitress. She is nice and experienced and very attentive to what we wanted. First time here but won’t be our last! The spinach artichoke dip is top notch! Hailey is a manager who also checked on us. So nice!! I normally don’t care for brussel sprouts but these were delish!! Chicken piccata was lemon and artichoke heaven. Soo tender! Great salsa and the enchiladas were such good comfort food! For dessert we had key lime pie and apple walnut cobbler!! Yuuuum!!

We went for an anniversary dinner. The wait staff was phenominal and the food was cooked and seasoned to perfection. We had absolutely no complaints and will 100% go back. Easily one of the top dinning experiences I've had.

I want to give a higher rating! Abby is a great manager. You can tell by watching her staff all work together, helping each other get thru a packed restaurant on a Tuesday evening. Corrin, the manager in training, was hands-on as well. Everyone, even staff not assigned to us, was stopping by checking how we were. Our server Karsen was great. Food was the best we have eaten since moving to Oklahoma in June.

We had a nice dinner with friends. Our server was outstanding. Food overall had great flavor. One of the meals had excessive breading on the protein, which was not to the liking of our friend. The restaurant seemed just a tad bit dark, and it was the middle of the day. Overall, it was a great experience.
