The sirloin steak received praise for being tender and flavorful, though some diners found other dishes, like the signature steak, bland and lacking seasoning. Seared is a perfect place to go for date night. The atmosphere was very cozy, intimate, and romantic. The dimmed lights with the individual table lights really set the mood for a perfect romantic dinner. The sirloin steak was tender and juicy. Each bite was savory and delicious. The perfect amount of seasoning on the steaks. The staff was very polite, professional, and helpful. Our waiter understood it was our first time at Seared. He gave us plenty of time to pick out our meal. He also took the time to answer all our questions respectfully. Overall it was an excellent experience. I look forward to going back for another fantastic meal.

Before I say anything else let me get this out of the way The bread that they bring out is probably some of the best I have ever had ever just superb. Unfortunately that was probably the highlight of the dinner. I think part of the problem could have been is maybe they were understaffed as the bartender was our server which caused lots of neglect. I had the house signature steak which was marinated and it was so bland that I could have used some A1. It was a really good cut of meat and cooked very well just lacked seasoning and flavor. The onion rings were soggy. The New York strip tasted okay. Was hoping for a better experience based on reviews.

Seared Restaurant located at 3455 W. Alexis Rd. Toledo, Ohio 419-480-1000. DEFINITELY a place to check out for dining! We had our son and his group dine here for their homecoming, and they told us it was a great experience! We decided tonight to try Seared for the first time and this restaurant did not disappoint! Theo, our waiter, was absolutely the best! He was personable and friendly. The atmosphere was beautiful, clean, and inviting. Our food was cooked to order and delicious! Great place! Loved it!!! ❤️

The food was great! The service... Well they tried... I travel a lot for business, so I often end up eating alone. This doesn't bother me, though I know for many folks it's considered uncomfortable. This restaurant, specifically the servers, seemed intent on, I don't know, punishing me? for being there alone. They sounded dismayed when I asked for a table. The server managed to greet and get drinks for a table of four that came in after me before I'd even been greeted. Multiple times during the meal I tried to order something and couldn't get a servers attention short of yelling out or going to the bar and asking someone to come to my table. I get it, I really do. Single diners just don't spend as much money as a big group. I try to be an easy guest. I order a lot so I have leftovers, and I tip pretty well, usually in the 25-50 percent range. I'm not asking for a 5 star experience at every diner and drive bar. But honestly, I've had better service at most of the drive bars and diners than at Seared. They smiled when they finally came by, but mostly I was just ignored. Couldn't put my order in, couldn't get some more water, couldn't ask for another cocktail. It took half an hour to get someone to take my dessert order alone. I came here right after work, about 4:30pm (16:30). I checked out after 7pm (19:00). This was not a two hour meal amount of food. Every dish came out hot and quick. The only thing that took forever was the service. Great steak, though. The veggies were on the small side, but I guess they're going for "elegant". The desserts were plain, but again, tasty for what they were. All in all I spent over $100 after tip. Felt it was justified, as I don't think I'll ever come back. Not even when my partner comes to visit, and certainly not recommending it for a company function. Just not worth the risk.

This place was excellent. TWO DIFFERENT OCCASIONS I had a better ribeye than some of the considered "fine dining" establishments in the area. Extremely delicious steaks and sides. Bartenders, we're friendly both times. Service was great. FINE DINING FOR AN AFFORDABLE PRICE.

Had dinner last Monday evening with our son and daughter in law visiting from out of town. I will give a very good rating of the atmosphere, every quiet , relaxing and even romantic in an old fashioned sense. But unfortunately I was disappointed in the food for the price. First you are seated at a table with a carafe of room temp water and never offered any ice. I had the Seafood Pasta which at 24.99 had 2 shrimp still half in the shell and 2 scallops-which were very tender- and what looked like canned crab meat in tiny little bits. The garlic butter sauce was tasteless and the whole dish was hardly even warm. I also added a chopped salad which was HUGH enough for 3 people. Well prepared fresh crisp and cold with again tasteless Ranch dressing. Why serve such a large salad as a side? My husband had a fillet which was very tender and a side of cold green beans. He also ordered French Onion soup which there again had very little flavor. We've had much better at a local bar/tavern. You've got the right concept & atmosphere but your food is hit or miss for the high prices.

Group of 7 had a wonderful experience at Seared. Everyone at the table was extremely happy with the meal they had ordered. The waitress we had was very courteous and patient the whole time. It is always great to go to a local restaurant with top notch food and service. We will definitely be going back to try more items from the menu.

We have been wanting to try this place for awhile, and went for our anniversary. Loved the atmosphere, very romantic with nice music playing. Service was fantastic and the food was amazing. Wonderful date night option.
