Not sure why this place is 4.4 on Google reviews. The food was amazing and service was perfect. My wife and I shared the Seafood Tower and the Porthouse steak. The chilled Seafood tower included 12 raw oysters with the mignonette, 8 huge shrimp, a split lobster with the claws cracked and open, and shrimp ceviche. I'm not a huge raw oyster fan, but these were the freshest and best tasting I've had in a while. The shrimp were "colossal" size and so sweet. The lobster was perfect and easy to remove from the shell. The ceviche was served with wonton chips and tested wonderful and fresh with a pico de gallo flavor. My wife and I also split the 32oz porterhouse steak and it was served perfectly cooked medium and already sliced. The flavor was wonderful and well seasoned with no need for sauce. Lastly we shared the carrot cake and the smores chocolate bomb. Both deserts were wonderful and would get again. We were very happy with everything we had. The portions were good and we had leftover steak to take home, even though we didnt order any side dishes. The prices are high, but comparable to other fine dining restaurants in the area. In my opinion, you get what you pay for. The quality of the food and service was great and we will definitely be back.

Our favorite steak house in Wilmington NC. High quality food, the best Ribeye, and very friendly staff (Val, Sarah, Ella, and Ali). We bring our friends and family here every time they visit town. Highly recommend!

G Prime was incredible, our server Sarah was phenomenal and professional and every single movement felt well thought out and accounted for from placing a glass to moving a fork it was well thought out. The food was incredible, I had the special ribeye medium rare, cooked just right. It was seasoned properly and didn't need any sauces (although that is personal preference) all around there are no complaints to be had and it was a wonderful experience from checking in at the hostess stand to being sat, to being walked through the menu. Sarah gave detailed and concise descriptions of our specials options for the night and made the experience what it was.

Great service from Grant tonight! He was managing multiple tables and was not pushy, seemed to show up at the perfect time all night. Drinks were solid, food was really good (steak was supposed to be rare, but came out slightly blue. Was a thick cut so can’t complain too much.) Would recommend to family.

First time of what we hope to be many visits to this amazing establishment. From the moment we were greeted at the entrance to our departure we were treated like the only guest. The menu is tastefully packed with a variety of great foods, the beverage menu is equally impressive…but the service and ambience is simply unmatched. Each item was prepared and served perfectly. Amazing experience!

My husband and I came here for our anniversary. We sat at the bar and each had a drink first. The bar was stunning, and I would come just for that The service was great. We shared oysters and shrimp cocktail for appetizer. Steak and cauliflower gratin for dinner. Everything was delicious. Everyone from the manager to the chef was so attentive. We will definitely come back

Upscale steakhouse in the revamped Port City Chop House space. The oysters and salads were excellent. The steaks were flavorful but the Brussels sprouts were soggy. Overall, a good experience.

My husband and I were blown away by our experience here on Saturday. The staff, from the host to the manager, was very welcoming. Our server Grant was fantastic! I have a gluten allergy, with which he was very accommodating and patient. He checked with the kitchen twice on every item I ordered to make sure it was safe. Cannot say enough nice things about the hospitality. We can definitely be picky when it comes to food (we’re huge foodies), but it more than exceeded our expectations, especially the rack of lamb. The risotto (with ahi tuna) was the best risotto I’ve had. We ate every bite. It was definitely worth the money and we can’t wait to come back.
