LongHorn Steakhouse

Came for dinner, this time on a weekday. There were only a few tables occupied & we were seated quickly. We’ve been here quiet a few times before, but always on Fridays, food & service have been great every time. This time was an exception. Service was slow & most times the server was nowhere to be found when we needed them. They never checked in on us or offered refills. In spite of reminding them at the time of ordering, entrees were served when we’d only barely started on the appetizers. We’d ordered steaks & because they served both entree & appetizer all together, we never got to enjoy either. The signature side of crispy Brussels sprouts was almost charred. We’d ordered our steaks medium rare, however one of them was served almost well done. We waited around a bit to see if we could at least wave someone over to let them know, gave up & had to eat what we could of the cold overcooked steak. Finally when they came over, we let them know & they didn’t even seem apologetic about it. They offered to remake the steak though, but half an hour after serving it, it felt like a half hearted attempt at making things better. By then we’d lost our appetite & didn’t even order any dessert. Overall experience wasn’t anything to write home about & the fact that it was a birthday dinner made it even worse.

Outstanding!!! We went here on Nov 21, 2023 during off hours and were a bit nervous the food would not be as fresh. Well, we were proved very wrong. The food was VERY FRESH and tasty. The steaks were cooked to perfection we ordered the renegade sirloin with Parmesan crust and the Long Horn porter house. We left feeling so satisfied not only with our food but wonderful service. Of course the first moment we were back in town from traveling we went right back. This time I got the asparagus as my side and they were cooked to perfection and the sweet potato was very tender and cooked all the way through. Unfortunately I asked for my renegade steak steak medium and it was more like medium well done but the flavor was so good I kept it. My husband got the Long Horn Porter House medium and it was cooked perfectly, the rice pilaf unfortunately was not cooked all the way but the waiter switched it for perfectly cooked and seasoned fries. We had the Wild West shrimp with pepper on the side in case it was spicy but it was not and they were incredibly delicious they were clearly cooked when ordered and brought out super fresh. After the second visit I became a member of their eclub emails to not miss anything new. Just got my free appetizer offer this week. Seriously try this place is totally worth it!

Normally good value for $ but not on a too busy Sunday! I ordered an appetizer with an upcharge of $5 and change, and it came to the table 1.5 minutes before the rest of the meal arrived. The lovely salad was not eaten. If I go again I will ask for the dressing on the side so I can take it home in case this was not an isolated occurrence. The Brussels were delicious, but I would not order the steak again.

That’s the only reason I gave it a four stars and not five. They told me we had to wait an hour for a table of 8. The food however, was great and so was the service. We enjoyed our meals. Beef was tender and cooks just like we ordered it. Everything was well seasoned and delicious. The desert was great! Maddie was our waitress and she was wonderful! She was thorough and attentive.

Service was great. We were seated quickly and greeted by our server Chloe promptly. She took our drink order and then gave us time to relax and figure out what we wanted for dinner. Chloe made our dining experience really pleasant.

So glad I got put on hold for an extended period of time and it gave me a chance to read their reviews. Looks as if not only is their front end staff very unorganized but it seems their kitchen staff putting out some bad dishes. While my 10+ mins on hold was annoying I’m so glad I dodged another issue with them. Longhorn what happened, you’ve completely fallen off…. Protect your health and spend your hard earned money where your time and health are appreciated and your money is welcomed.
