One Pier Steakhouse

My husband and I went to One Pier and were pleasantly surprised. Yonkers isn’t known for having any good steakhouses, but One Pier stands out! For appetizer we ordered the butter shrimp and we wished we could get a spoon so we could just chug the leftover sauce in the platter, it was that good!. The shrimp was cooked just right, not rubbery. For entree, I ordered the ribeye and mashed potatoes and my husband ordered the filet mignon with truffle fries. Both were cooked to medium rare like we requested and were the most tender steaks ever!! The sides were also amazing. The mash was just perfect because sometimes in restaurants, the mashed potato is very gummy, not here.. it was so fluffy! The truffle fries were also so delicious that my normally “I just want 3 pieces of fries” finished the entire order. The dessert deserves its own paragraph, so here goes. We ordered the bread pudding.. but it was no ordinary bread pudding. It was 3 pieces of bread soaked in the delicious mixture and either pan fried or baked. It was also topped with the most delicious vanilla ice cream ever. So this bread pudding combined with the vanilla ice cream literally created some kind of heaven or oasis in my and my husband’s mouth. I can’t complete my order without mentioning the staff. Every single person there is amazing and made sure the food was good and we were comfortable. The ambiance is also very attractive. An 18% gratuity was ordered to the check.

I really enjoyed the food and service ! I'll be back in restaurant week. I had the skirt steak with truffle fries and the crab patty as well the empanadas were made very well. They had some good cocktails I had two 😂 seating was comfortable being almost 2 hours here is nice for just about any occasion ☺️

I’ve been meaning to leave this review for the past few weeks! We booked the upstairs room for our anniversary dinner and wow One Pier did not disappoint. The staff was incredible and the manager Jimmy was very communicative and accommodating. We decorated the room to our liking but it didn’t need much decor as it was recently renovated. The food was INCREDIBLE and everyone raved about it. So grateful for this gem of a restaurant!

Food and service were great. My dates chicken was too under done, skin not crispy, a little pink in the middle. They swapped it out for the salmon without any problems or bad attitude. I will be back with an emptier stomach for the steak 😅

I visited One Pier Steakhouse for dinner on 5/31/24. I ordered the fried calamari for an appetizer and it was nice and tender. The NY Strip Steak was cooked to my liking, which was medium. It was juicy and delicious! I The sides of mashed potatoes and garlic spinach were great. For dessert, I had 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream and it was topped off with a mint, which was very refreshing. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. The atmosphere is beautiful as you have views of the Hudson River. I will definitely recommend it if you are looking for a nice meal in a beautiful area. I will return !

The presentation was a winner for me along with the flavor of the food match🔥🔥🔥 The only thing that I didn't like was the auto 18% tip added to a party of two. When my sister/sisters and I go anywhere to dine, we are OVERLY GENEROUS however, that is according to how you deal with us along with other things we vote on. Due to the company having a policy of auto tip, they truly can turn a person off by taking away their privilege of choice and rate. Now the place wasn't crowded at the moment and due to a sun shower, we moved inside. Our second waiter was good BUT not better than the gentleman who first served us while we were outside. He was worth more than 18%!!! The only thing I encourage the owners to take into consideration is the auto gratuity. We, New Yorkers are consistently getting robbed of having choices or opinions, don't become our government when your food and drinks are divine‼️ We will be back and I recommend this restaurant🔥🔥🔥

I ordered the 10oz flank steak and got bamboozeled with two skinny pieces of beef. For the hell of it I decided to weight it and to no surprise the “10 oz” steak I ordered for $30 was only 5oz. What a joke.
