Customer Review Summary
Reviews for Hutch's are mixed. Many praised the appetizers, particularly the wedge salad and beef tartar. However, the entrees, such as the tuna steak, were criticized for being unseasoned and uninspired. Service received high marks, with several staff members being mentioned positively. Some guests had exceptional experiences, enjoying dishes like shrimp & grits and jambalaya, and complimented the ambiance. Negative experiences included long waits for food and being seated in a cold area. Overall, while some found the restaurant worth the visit, others felt it did not justify the high price tag.

I got an appetizer, a cocktail, an entree and split a dessert. The appetizers were definitely the star of the show. I got the wedge salad and my partner got the beef tartar. Both were great. Cocktail was ok, but definitely not amazing. The entrees are where the experience went downhill. I got the tuna steak and my partner got a beef steak. The tuna steak was unseasoned and uninspired. It seems they do similar sides for any entree so I got some beans, carrots, potatoes, and a soy dipping sauce. My partner enjoyed the steak more but still felt the experience was not worth it. We were also celebrating a birthday which we communicated to the restaurant, and nothing was said about that… overall, the food was just not worth the $250+ price tag for 2 people. Avoid.

Stopped here on our honey moon as we traveled, and wow! The shrimp & grits were good! My HUSBANDS fried chicken and potatoe salad were tasty too! We will definitely be back! Cat (with a C) gave awesome service! We were pleased with our whole experience.

Amazing place! We drove in from Rochester for the Pentatonix concert, amd needed a place to eat dinner. My brother lives in Buffalo and recommended Hutches, stating itwas just best jambalaya he ever had in his entire life. Boy, was he right! We also had their salmon and I had one of their old Fashions and everything was 10 out of 10! The service was amazing, everyone was super friendly, everyone knew every item on the menu and had recommendations. We will definitely be heading back there when we are back in town!!

Hutch’s is hands down one of the finest restaurants in Buffalo. The ambiance, food, the drinks, the list goes on. But the shining star is the service! Rachel, Mary & Julian continually give 5 star service, rolling out the red carpet to make their guests feel special. Julian even got strawberries to muddle into a fantastic drink for me! Just one of many reasons why I love hutch’s and will always have hutch’s at the top of my list!

We are sat by the rear door. It’s 10 degrees outside and people are in and out, making for a very cold meal. Our reservations were at 7pm and we were seated promptly. It’s now 8:44 and we still have no entree. Not a great experience for the price, but most of the staff is friendly.

Absolutely delicious. I love that they incorporate seasonal items to their specials menu as well. This place gives the Chophouse a run for its money.

The food was great and the service wonderful. I would definitely recommend the restaurant. The only area I could see any improvement to, would be that the noise level was kind of high. I guess more and more places have such high ceilings that sounds bounce all over the place. We still had a good time even with limited conversations.
