Several customers praised the food quality, highlighting dishes like the Filet Mignon, French Onion Soup, and pork chops as excellent. Many mentioned the consistent and fresh food, with some noting the bar area and two dining rooms create a cozy atmosphere despite being a bit cramped. Service is generally rated positively, with attentive staff, although there are complaints regarding specific issues, like glasses with lipstick stains and inconsistent cooking temperatures. Some guests expressed disappointment over high seafood prices and limited refills, leading to less frequent visits. I am adding my recent experience. I went to this establishment 7 years ago and was able to revisit. I ordered a Filet Mignon with Mashed Potatoes and Garlic Bread. The Filet was ordered Medium Rare, but came in at a Medium to almost Well Done temperature. The waitress replaced that Steak with a Medium Temperature Steak. I just cut the well cooked part from the Center and ate the Center part. I ordered the French Onion Soup as an App/Starter. Excellent, order it. The Mashed Potatoes were very good, and the Garlic Bread was great. Even the Salad was good. The Prime Rib was cooked on point. Word of advice, if you don't have a reservation make one, or they will pit you in the semi outside Dinning Area.

The food is fresh and always cooked perfectly. We always reserve a table a day in advance because they get busy pretty. They have a bar in the front with some tables and then they have a couple of rooms in the back for dining. It’s a nice place, just a little cramped. There’s just enough room for the waiter/waitresses to get through. But that’s honestly the only complaint I have about the place. It is a bit pricey, so we only go here every now and then. Definitely worth the price though.

We live a few towns away and this is one of our go to spots to bring family, friends or just a night out to ourselves. The food is excellent, consistent. The staff is awesome and the atmosphere warm and inviting.

We’ve been going here for years because we’ve never been disappointed with the food or service. My husband has always ordered the Frog Legs and I have the steak sandwich with a salad and garlic toast. We share the French onion soup. The owner for some 30 years, makes himself available to his guests and cares about the impression that his customers walk away with. Plenty of parking, no negatives. You will be a repeat customer.

Food is always good, but now we are down to penny pinching. Get a sissy refill and get charged for that. Seems simple but now we don’t come as often. Plus the seafood prices are so far out of line with normal pricing it’s crazy. Great steaks and love the fries and apple sauce. Hoping some day you can update the place would be nice.

The pork chops are amazing!! For years I've always gotten the strip steak and shrimp combo but once I tried the chops, that's what I've been ordering. Absolutely delicious, and HUGE. Besides fantastic food, the service is always great and Ryan makes wonderful white Russians!

My go-to place for birthday dinner. The Best Lobster around. We always get the surf and turf dinner for 2 currently at $92. Includes half dozen clams casino, juicy 8 ounce tail and choice of filet or sirloin, nice garden salad or soup and potato.

The first problem was water glass with lipstick on it. 3 out of 4 dinners were good. I made the mistake of having the prime rib. Which is hit or miss here. I ordered the biggest one they offered. It came to me undersized and to tough to eat I ate one bite and sent it back. The did replace with a very good filet mignon. Which I can make at home that’s why I order prime rib. Just came back from there again tonight. They put us in the back room with only a small wall heater so kind of cold. My filet mignon I ordered medium was almost well done. They took that off my bill. The bathroom off the bar was really cold. How can a high end restaurant have improper heating? I tried and I will not go back again.
