The Buffalo Chop House is one of the premier restaurants in Buffalo. The name has grown to be synonymous with impeccable service, high quality food and beverages. This all comes at a premium price, but it's definitely worth it, especially for a special night out. The bar area and atmosphere lends to being cozy and well defined. Menu options are a la carte featuring quality steaks and seafood. There is a nice selection of desserts as well. I went with the 12 oz fillet which was cooked to perfection. Depending on your pallet, you might want the rub applied lightly (noted so you know it's an option). Others had the Kansas City steak, which is dry aged and was pretty delicious as well. The seafood platter featured sizable shrimp and crab legs. Some of the sides were average such as the fries and broccoli, but the mac and cheese, French onion soup and bacon were out of this world! The cheesecake was a little dry for my liking. Overall a great experience and will certainly be back. Give him a try if you haven't already, it won't disappoint.

I brought my husband here for his birthday the day after Thanksgiving. They have free valet parking, which was very much appreciated by us. We were greeted by a very friendly staff. There was a coat checker who offered to take our coats for us. It was a very nice surprise. Our waitress Laura was super nice and very helpful and informative about the menu and daily specials. We ordered the Caesar salad, which was big enough for two. The kitchen split the salad onto two plates for us. Their dressing was so delicious that I wish I could buy a bottle for home. My husband ordered the filet medium rare. His steak came out rarer than medium rare. He said he didn't mind because it melted in his mouth, so he had no issues with it. I ordered the ribeye steak. The crust and flavor of this steak were absolutely incredible, and it also melted in my mouth. We ordered the fries as our side, which is more than plenty for two people. Our dinner here was top-notch. I honestly think it's one of the best meals we've had dining out in many of our years together. The restaurant decor has a very elegant touch with just the right amount of lighting. I'm really looking forward to coming back. My only advice to future guests would be to bring cash to tip the valet and the coat checker. We tipped generously because of the convenience that was offered. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Found this gem by surprise. Able to accomodate a walk in with ease and friendliness. Food and service was great. Had Nick as our server and he made sure we were well taken care of. Wedge salad is a very big portion. Onion rings and steak were perfection. We will be sure to visit again for some Buffalo hospitality.

It was my first time at The Chophouse. I will definitely be back. My steak was cooked perfectly, and all the sides were incredible. I also had my first raw oyster. I loved it. The service was just as good as our meal.

The staff was kind and welcoming. The atmosphere was pretty nice! The food was mediocre however. Not terrible.. none of it was bad. But for the price point it wasn’t like wow. I’ve had similar tasting food and even much better tasting food, for MUCH less. I’d say overall. 3-4 stars. Still a cool place to visit once.

Came here to say my birthday, the Ambiance to the food was pretty good. We ordered the meatballs and steak frites. The portion size was really big and the steak was good. Loved the meatballs. I found the steak to be juicy and really good though the top seasoning for some reasoning I did not like.
