BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse

BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse is one of my favorite Restaurants in the country. This was my first visit to this restaurant while visiting family in the Detroit area. I ordered one of my staples the tri tip salad. Steak was ordered, salmon, sliders and tri-tip all ordered. The food was cooked fantastic and the service was even better. I would highly recommend this restaurant to all.

Me and my girlfriend have always loved this place, however THIS TIME took it up to another level. Rory, genuinely should be on the mount rushmore of the BJ’s restaurant. Fantastic service from Rory, and amazing food. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed. As you can see from my photo…i licked my bowl CLEAN.

Aak for Rory m, he did a fantastic job taking care of my wife and I. Prime Rib was served and presented to me the way I ordered it. The double bone porkchop my wife ordered was perfectly cooked and seasoned.

I liked it on my first trip in. Their Jeremiah Red home brew was very good! Only had wings but I liked them. Sat out front by the fire and was very cozy. A little too commercial for my taste, but a nice bar.

I ordered the Game Day Deal (large pizza and wings), got a confirmation text and a “ready for pickup” text- only to find out that they ran out of large pizzas and cancelled my entire order without notifying me in any way whatsoever. Neal, the manager on call night was minimally helpful and the situation was not handled properly, the restaurant was less than half full, it was Super Bowl Sunday, but this is inexcusable. We reordered with two shareable pizzas (to replace the out of stock large), and 30 wings. The pizza was horrible (pictured) and the wings were undercooked. These are usually my favorite wings, I won’t be back. Please contact me to resolve this. I’d like to hear from someone on the corporate level.

Great menu selection. The Mac and cheese bites were yummy. Portions are generous. The drink menu is vast with so many enticing options. Service was friendly and efficient, lots of manager types on the floor assisting team members which says a lot about the high level of service. Look forward to going back and saving room for desert!

They close at midnight we arrived around 10.20pm and stood at the hostess station unacknowledged for 10 minutes as the wait staff walked by side eyeing our party as if they hoped we’d disappear. I had to ask if there was a host available before one waitress finally addressed us and tried to find a table. The restaurant had about 10 patrons I total. Our waitress was kind but there were several issues. Our orders were taken incorrectly as in she brought out the complete wrong item. She didn’t bring out the additional sides that were ordered and they still ended up on the bill. Overall the service wasn’t great but it was our only option at that hour.

The kindness, conversation and help of Kelly (our server) made our experience truly exceptional. Kelly’s time with us was well above and beyond most servers; her demeanor, attention to detail and warm hearted friendliness made all the difference. It is apparent that Alex (the restaurant’s manager) has organized and led a competent and caring staff! From the time we arrived to the moment we left, our time BJ’s was superb. We highly recommend everyone to frequent this fantastic eatery!!!!
