Customer Review Summary
Logan's Roadhouse has received mixed reviews. While some customers praised the service, especially highlighting friendly and attentive servers, others experienced poor management and communication issues. A common complaint involved difficulties with reservations, unwelcoming attitudes upon arrival, and long wait times for service even when the restaurant was not busy. Food quality also drew criticism; diners encountered undercooked steaks, bland meals, and unsatisfactory portion sizes, particularly for children's meals. Moreover, issues with billing practices and perceived dishonesty left some guests feeling frustrated and unlikely to return. Despite these challenges, a few loyal customers expressed positive experiences, emphasizing the warmth of the staff. Overall, there appears to be inconsistency in service and food quality that impacts customer satisfaction.

15 of us, one server, and she was amazing! Friendly, efficient, and thoroughly took care of us. Two birthdays in our group. We were all well taken care of, and they were recognized. Can't say we were that thrilled when we first arrived, though. Called ahead 3 times attempting to make a reservation, but no reservations, even for large groups. Then, called to alert them that we would be there at 2, so they would at least have a heads up. Not only were we made to feel unwelcome when we arrived, there was a note prominently posted on the wall at the reception desk that a party of 12 was coming in at 4pm. ?? Why make a note for them and not us? Spoke with the manager, and his attitude and response had us on our phones looking for somewhere else to go. We stayed because they suddenly had a table and a server. Our lovely server was at the end of her shift but agreed to stay for us! She is the reason we had such a lovely meal.

First of all please get this location staffed or just shut down. Our server was hosting, serving, and the host?! So of course our food took awhile when there were only 2-3 other tables. My garden salad was mainly spoiled (floppy and brown as shown in the pic.) But I just ate around the worst parts cuz I hate complaining. Then the portion of fries was literally a handful and looked like a kids side which for a $24 meal yikes. Graciously the kind food runner got us more. She asked me to cut into the steak to make sure it was made correctly... it was solid brown and hard so nope. As they were re making it I took a sip of my fresh glass of water and it tasted like salty dish water literally, even my bf agreed. That was my last straw with this place as I was looking forward to a nice meal after work so sadly I lost my appetite. Didn't want the steak anymore and asked for a to go container for my bf's meal. PLEASE GO TO THE OTHER LOCATION (located in grandville.) They'll get it right lol. But I do appreciate the awesome server and feel very bad for her as she's doing it all there.

Went in on a Saturday and was very disappointed. My husband ordered a steak which had no flavor and dry. The instant potatoes was watered down. My meal which was a shrimp dinner was cold even the fries. This is not the first time of leaving disappointed. Thought we would give them a second chance. Seen the waitress when she took our order but that was the last time until she was bringing us our bill. Never once came to the table to see how things were or for a refill. Don't think we will give them a third chance. Still paid the bill and gave a decent tip.

We used to love coming here but the past two times have been abysmal at best. This last time took the cake though. My wife, daughter and I stopped here for dinner around 6:30, I ordered a filet and my wife got a New York strip that she was going to share with our daughter. My meal was fine but hers was severely undercooked. Being 8 months pregnant we didn’t want to chance it so we flagged down our waitress and politely mentioned to her we would like it cooked some more. She begrudgingly brought it back. After some time she brought it back to us and after walking away my wife cut into it thinking it looked better but after a bite and another cut she realized it was hardly better. We again flagged our waitress down and mentioned to her our disappointment but didn’t want to further the situation, assuming she would just remove it from the bill. When she brought the bill she only took off $5 and the steak was around $25. At this point we were both a tad irritated and asked to talk to the manager about it. When she came over (acting like we were inconveniencing her) we explained the situation to her. She said that she was told that most of the steak had been ate, which was why she only took the small amount off. My wife had only taken one bite and our daughter one as well. All she had done was cut it up a bunch to see if any of it was cooked. She had also spit her bite into her napkin. Therefore our waitress was lying to her. So after agreeing to comp the whole steak we got our bill, paid it and left an appropriate tip (22% of the bill after the steak was removed). We aren’t out to screw people over and just wanted to be treated fairly for what we paid for vs what we received. After about a day or two the charge landed on my credit card and the waitress punched it in for a dollar more than what I had written down. I couldn’t believe someone would do this but unfortunately I had already thrown out the receipt so there was nothing I could do about it. I couldn’t care less about the dollar but the principle of doing something like that irks me to no end. Because of this we will never give another penny of our money to any Logan’s establishment in our area for hiring such dishonest employees (feels like the manager was in on it too) and especially this specific location.

Terrible Manager Kristeena, Ghost Town for a reason. We went out to celebrate as a family and waited quite a long time to be greeted, even though the place was very empty and the staff walked by a few times. We were a bit concerned about how the service was going to be if the restaurant was that slow. But we were eventually seated and we were pleasantly surprised at how kind and helpful the two waitresses were that helped us. However...we were shocked to find the $6.99 kids burger was a literal quarter of a normal size burger (you could see how it was a 1/4 cut from a burger) and the bun was smaller than their free rolls. When we voiced concern about how expensive the kids' meal was for such a small portion, the waitresses agreed and they went to talk to the manager. They came back to say that they were going to comp the kids' meal. They asked if we wanted to order another meal, to which we said no, and then they asked if we wanted another side for our son. We said "let's see" as we wanted to see if he'd be full before ordering more food. When we got the check, we found that the kids' burger had not been removed, and we were then told that it would have only been comped IF we had ordered something else, which we would have done. After talking to the waitress, Kristeena Smith-Jackson, the Service and Guest Relations Manager came out and asked us, "How can I help you?" We explained what the waitresses had told us, but her demeanor was abrasive and rude, and she refused to honor what we were told. Before and after her coming out to our table, we could hear her yelling in the kitchen, at our waitresses. It was completely unprofessional and sounded like verbal abuse. One of the waitresses came back and apologized, then gave us two coupons for a future visit ($10 off a $40 purchase and a free entree with $25 purchase). I have no interest in going back to Logan's again, at least at that location, which is very sad because we have always enjoyed that restaurant and location. The place was a complete ghost town while we were there between 7:40 and 9:00, and if that's the way the manager usually conducts herself, perhaps there's an obvious reason the place was so empty.

The steak was ok. Under seasoned. The instant mashed potatoes were a complete turn off. Service was ok. I would give it a second chance, but order the baked potato. Everything else was pretty good. ( Beer, rolls, mac, broccoli) Definitely room for improvement.

I use to go multiple times every week and never had one bad experience. The people there are amazing and always bring a positive and friendly environment, and love to chat with the guests making the experience even better. The best part is the staff will remember each guest and always give you a warm welcoming when walking in, furthermore, a great employee, Lauri has always given me and my gf a wonderful experience every time. Best restaurant I’ve been to.

My #1 pet peeve when dining at a restaurant of this level is if you're going to sell me an appetizer and I get one, it better be served before the meal. All of our food, appetizer, salad and entree all came out at once. I had half a mind to send the entree back to keep warm so I could enjoy the appetizer, but just decided to rush through my meal. The food tasted great, I just wish I could have enjoyed it. I made mention of it to the server and I got a half-hearted apology. Note to staff: when something like this happens, don't charge for the appetizer that wasn't an appetizer. Logan's is on notice that this can't happen again or I won't be back.
