We've been there a couple times in the last month. The food is amazing! The service could be slightly better for the type of place it is, but I'm not going to fault anyone during this time of year. I can't imagine how hard their job is. Regardless, we love the food, drinks, and atmosphere. The first time I had the fajitas which were the best I've ever had (and I love me some fajitas.....ask the wife)! The second time I went with the steak and it was absolutely divine. Better than some local steakhouses can do in this state. Well done, Fire Rock. It was a pleasure dining with you guys!

Visited here on a Tuesday night and we sat in the bar area at a high top table. The service was very attentive so no complaints there, the food was good but nothing exceptional. I got the ahi tuna in the fried californer bites. It was incredibly cold in the area we were sitting in to our had to wear a coat all through dinner. The bartender kept going outside for something and it was like 12 degrees allowing a huge draft to continuously float into the seating area which was an unbelievably inconsiderate. Overall it was a decent experience but nothing mind-blowing that would get me to come back. I also felt the prices were a little steep. We had two old-fashions and two ahi tunas and our bill was like $115

Absolutely delicious. The bread & herb butter they served with the meals was so good that I ordered 2 to go. Would definitely recommend.

The waitresses were great and scenery of this resturant is beautiful and very clean! However, the food is a whole different story. My partner and I both ordered the NY strip steak and asked for it medium rare. My steak came back completely pink, the outside was grey, there was 0 crust/scorch marks, and you could tell that they didn’t pat dry the steak before cooking because of the amount of moisture in the steak where it looked and tasted as if it was boiled. What made it even worse was that my partners steak was served to him practically RAW. The inside was dark uncooked pink and the actual texture and quality of the steak was awful. Both steaks lacked any sort of flavor/seasonings untop of being cooked poorly. For 30 dollars, we expected much better cooking and steak. Even outback steak house was better than this.

DON'T ORDER THE STEAKS ON THE ROCKS!!! My wife and I visited this past Saturday, because we've had Black Rock and wanted to try a similar experience with the hot stone steaks. We both ordered the 12 oz New York Strip, which started off decent, then quickly turned bad. The steak itself was extremely gristly and hard to cut. By the time we got to the last half of our steaks, the stone turned cold, which resulted in our steaks not getting as cooked as we needed. This is important to note. Our side dishes were also cold. The brussels sprouts and asparagus were barely cooked, basically raw. We then thought we'd try to improve our experience by ordering the Sticky Toffee Cake. There was nothing sticky or enjoyable about the cake. It was extremely dry, flavorless and the ice cream was basically completed melted. Disappointed we went home that night, and started not feeling great. Well turns out the undercooked steak gave my wife and I FOOD POISONING. We spent the next 24 hours in pain and agony with horrific stomach issues. Needless to say, we did not enjoy our experience and will never be returning. So if you're considering going to FireRock Grille instead of Black Rock, don't.

Visited here with our friends after a soccer tournament. Food…we had high hopes for the food which ended up being good so have 4 stars. I had the spicy chicken sandwich who CL was good (not spicy at all though), my wife had the French dip which she said was good, one of our kids had the kid’s macaroni and cheese which was homemade and tasted good and another of our kids (12 yr) had the adult sirloin which was done perfectly. Our friends had a similar food experience. Service…this was average, the waiter just didn’t connect well with us and there were a few mistakes with the order which he then made excuses such as he didn’t hear us order it that way or that is was our fault. He fixed it but should have just apologized instead of trying to make it our fault, we weren’t blaming him, just wanted the order the way we ordered it. Atmosphere…this was very nice. It felt clean, bathrooms were well kept, and a nice view of the golf course and outdoor seating. Overall it was a nice restaurant.

Another great trip to Firerock. We cannot highly recommend this place enough. My wife got the salmon this time, I ordered the Walleye. Both dishes were amazing, again. The drinks are always 100% and the wait staff are so responsive and helpful. Just stop here check it out!
