Casual eatery & sports-bar chain serving American fare, such as burgers, wings, steaks & flatbreads.
Customer Review Summary
Brann's Steakhouse & Grille has a mixed reputation among its patrons. Many appreciate the historical sports decor and the atmosphere, with some praising the good hospitality and attentive service. Food quality varies significantly; while some reviewers enjoyed dishes like tender pork ribs and flavorful salmon, others found items like prime rib and appetizers overcooked or lacking flavor. The complimentary cinnamon butter and fresh rolls received positive mentions. However, concerns were raised regarding a 3% additional charge for rising costs, which some diners felt was unnecessary and off-putting. Overall, while there are highlights in service and certain food items, inconsistent food quality and pricing transparency issues seem to detract from the experience.

As you walk in, you will see all kinds of historical sports events. You will see plenty of TVs and good hospitality. I sat down and was attended to shortly. The food was wonderful. I don't know how it gets at night, but in lunch time it was perfect 👌.

Food was good. Little overcooked. Atmosphere good. Service OK. Overall a mediocre experience.

This review is strictly for ownership or management, the food was decent , staff was friendly and kind, my issue is walking to the front door a big sign stating their is a 3% additional charge to offset rising costs, not a credit card service charge which sadly is becoming normal but just because? I understand things cost more but bury it in your menu prices or lower your costs another way, by just stating your taking 3% of our money for no legitimate reason blows my mind , it did not prevent me from going in, but sadly for their hard working staff I was 1 of 3 people in this large establishment and honestly I watched 1 of the other 2 walk in back so he probably was the owner or manager. The sign did not prevent me from going in but sadly will from going back, Branns has been a staple in GR since I was a kid , what a shame you think they would know what they are doing by know

Went there for a steak but enjoyed the pork ribs the most. The meat from the pork ribs was extremely tender and delicious. Steak was cooked well. They also offer fresh baked rolls with cinnamon sugar butter. They're yummy 😋. Our lunch was complete with a nice cheese cake with ice cream scoops. Lovely experience 🥰

Ordered an appetizer and it was hard.. ordered potatoe skins it’s like they were left in the oven too long. Then for dinner ordered a prime rib.. which has no flavor. And for the price you pay you shouldn’t be liking way. With food that has no flavor and or burned and crispy. Soda tasted flat. Much flat like we were being rushed.

My server was amazing! The food came quickly & exactly to order. The atmosphere was quiet & reflective with couples on Valentine's Day.

I've seen these all around Michigan and really wanted to stop. Glad I did. Wet burrito was awesome. Also, they are not kidding about these margaritas. Very good. I'm not a steak person, but I just proved you don't have to be a steak person to eat here. 😂 Loved it. Oh and the staff is awesome, lots of personality!! Will definitely be back.

We arrived around 3:45 pm on a Saturday, so it wasn’t too busy. The restaurant is clean and the salmon that I ordered was caramelized outside and juicy. Very flavorful and the broccoli was seasoned without being too salty. The cinnamon butter and bread is a nice treat to have while waiting on dinner. Nice place.
