Customer Review Summary
Spettus Brazilian Steakhouse features an unassuming exterior with a spacious and classy interior. The lunch buffet offers fresh meats, veggies, rice, beans, and even lasagna, with standout desserts like passion fruit mousse and brigadeiro cake. While some found the buffet good, there were complaints about dry meats and a lack of chicken wings on certain nights. The overall experience includes tasty food, with particular praise for the short rib beef and lamb. The presentation of the food is impressive, but some diners noted the meat could be overly salty and chewy, although the grilled pineapple was a highlight. The restaurant has a flexible pricing model with options for all-you-can-eat or pay by weight, appealing to various customer needs. The friendly staff and improved atmosphere make it a popular spot, with many planning to return after positive experiences. Overall, it combines good quality food with a cozy dining experience at a reasonable price.

An unassuming exterior with a spacious and classy interior! I was also impressed with the lunch buffet! Fresh and cooked meats and veggies, rice and beans, and even lasagna! Their pass fruit mousse and brigadeiro cake were PHENOMENAL. Just so so tasty! Each of our meals came to about $24 (including dessert).

Decent food. The buffet food that was out was pretty good. A lot of the meats that were brought to us were dry and they didn’t have chicken wings that night (one of the reasons I wanted to go).

Tasty food! I come here every year for Dine Out Boston week (happening now). And intermittently throughout the rest of the year. The food is good, and the service is nice. There is a vodka sauce (the pink one) that goes well with the spaghetti and the meatballs. I of course love the spit roast meats too. My favorite today were the short rib beef and the lamb. I love the garlic beef too but it didn’t come out today - short ribs were better than average though. Worth a visit, especially during a promo - or I guess you can just pay full price for buffet, lol. I don’t like the pay by pound thing, I keep thinking I’m wasting money adding rice or spaghetti. But I guess by weight is probably a better deal, lol. Look at the presentation of that desert!

The presentation of the food was amazing and the restaurant itself was gorgeous on the inside. However, the food was disappointing. $39 per person for buffet but the meat was SO salty and SO chewy. The grilled pineapple was probably the best grilled option. Otherwise the food in the middle was pretty good

Discovered this modern Brazilian joint with delicious sides and meat options. Grab a plate, fill it at the buffet then pick up some meaty options. Finally, get it weighted and enjoy! Oh yea, mango juice was good and totally natural.

I love it. Smaller sections of meats, but all the meats, beef lamb etc was delicious. The buffet was also good. Price was right. I will return now that I know of this place! I got the rice pudding, not bad.

First time here, Sirloin cap and short rib was so good! Meat was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Short rib was so tender that it almost melted in my mouth. They also have a variety of cooked food and fresh salad bar! You can choose all-you-can-eat or price by weight, which is very flexible for customer with different needs. Both options have unbeatable price in Boston. The staff here is very friendly. Will def visit again!

I use to come here all the time to grab a quick, good quality plate of food. I had moved away 3 years and haven’t been back since. I came in today for a quick good quality plate (again lol) WOW!! It’s so beautiful in there now. The atmosphere is so cozy. I would never stay and sit down but now with the new bar and dining area, I’ll definitely be back with friends. What surprised me the most was the food. Every time a restaurant grows I feel as though the food quality goes down. The food was even better than I remember! Staff is super pleasant with huge smiles. I definitely give this place a 5 star review!!
