My wife and I visited Mason Steakhouse on February 15th, 2025, and we had an incredible dining experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. The ambiance was perfect for a romantic evening, and the service was exceptional throughout the night. We started with the appetizer platter, which was a delightful mix of flavors, followed by their signature steaks — cooked to absolute perfection. The meat was tender, flavorful, and exactly how we like it. The sides were also fantastic, especially the creamy mashed potatoes and the roasted vegetables. The wine list had great options that paired beautifully with our meals. We finished off the evening with a decadent dessert that was the perfect ending to a memorable meal. Mason Steakhouse truly exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to return. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just want an outstanding steak, this place is a must-visit! Highly recommend it!

The oysters were incredibly fresh and delicious, while the asparagus had the perfect balance of a citrusy zest and satisfying crunch. The bone marrow was rich and well-balanced with the accompanying greens. And the lobster bisque? Easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The ambiance of the restaurant was absolutely beautiful, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal. To top it off, the staff went above and beyond. When we accidentally left our credit card behind, they quickly called to let us know, and we were able to return and retrieve it without any issues. I’m already excited for our next visit. This place is truly exceptional!

Before I went to dinner here last night, I had read some articles about the restaurant online and thought we should give it a shot for a date night (even though we live about 40 minutes away). I am so glad we did because it was 100% worth it. From the moment we walked in the door, the service was prompt and friendly. I ordered the Quincy classic cocktail and it was sweet and delicious. I literally told my husband that I could have eaten an entire pan of the fresh rolls they serve but I'm glad I didn't because I wanted to save room for the entrees and desserts and it was so worth it. We were a little unsure about the mushroom rillette - not really knowing what to expect with taste consistency, but it was delicious (the crunchy onions really tied it all together). The steaks were cooked perfectly (I had the green peppercorn sauce and it really complimented the steak, I'd absolutely get it again - I do like the fact that the sauces come on the side as well.) I also don't know what kind of sauce they put on the asparagus but I could NOT stop eating it. The french fries and mac and cheese were also good. I feel like so many times good steakhouses don't deliver in the dessert department but no so here. The cherry blossom dessert was so unique - everything on it was edible - and delicious. The chocolate dessert (which I was told is the chef's signature dessert) was rich, chocolatey, and PERFECT. We had managers come by and check on how we were doing during the meal but we were surprised when the actual owner (Tony) came by our table. We ended having a few interests in common and we chatted with him for quite a while. He is friendly and very down to Earth. You can tell he cares about this restaurant, the experience, and the quality. It was an absolute pleasure to get to know him. Moral of the story - We'll be back, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Atmosphere was great. Ladies behind the bar were super friendly and attentive and make a great cocktail. Apps and steak were spot on and cooked to perfection. It’s nice not to have to drive into Boston to go to a great steakhouse. I would recommend 10 out of 10 sides and will absolutely be back.

Love love love this place. I’m so happy that Mason’s steakhouse is located in Quincy which is very close to my house. The restaurant is so beautiful outside and inside; it’s very clean and fancy. The drinks are so good; food is very delicious. Thank you so much Mason’s steakhouse that makes my sister 50th birthday more special. Would love to recommend to everyone.

The mixture of flavors was spot on, and it was perfectly cooked. The presentation was unique and refreshing, and I can confidently say I’d come back just to have it again. Bone Marrow - Delicious, rich, and flavorful. The taste was perfectly balanced, but I would offer one small suggestion: the bread it came with was a bit too flavorful, and together it felt like it overshadowed the marrow slightly. A more neutral bread might enhance the experience even further. Carpaccio 😍Outstanding! The sauce they used was different and made for a perfect combination. It leaned slightly on the mustard side for my taste, but it was still amazing. Definitely something everyone needs to try! Steak 🥩 Cooked to perfection with excellent flavor. Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! Especially appreciate our server Michael for the great work. Love the Quincy Classic and Masons Old Fashioned cocktails. The lobster bisque, steak, pasta, and even fries are so good. And the vibe is unbeatable!

There were a group of us who went Sat. Eve. for dinner. Got a great table and had good service. The meal was OK. Nothing I would say was great (except the rolls.)The apps were ok/good (oysters Rockefeller and other oysters). And I honestly saved most of my steak for home. But now, just trying it, it is loaded with fat. And it is semi-tough. Chewable, but not flavorful. For this, I felt a review was in order. We are familiar with high end steakhouses, so, being the one who picked up the tab, this was not one. P.S. The space is lovely inside. However, upon leaving, the first step down situation (with no railing or sign) to stay "Step Down". Is an accident waiting to happen. Luckily, my niece caught me before I took a nasty tumble.
