Phenomenal experience! Celebrated a birthday and the evening could not have been better. Service was outstanding, attentive and helpful. All of the food was outstanding, the complimentary bread was delicious as well as the appetizers. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the dessert for the birthday was delicious. Can't wait to head back for another meal!

Had an overall great experience here during dine out Boston (got one dine out meal and a couple items from regular menu). The prime rib was well cooked and delicious coupled with the mashed potatoes; not sure what they put in there but I was hooked. The Calamari was great, as was the truffle Mac and cheese and the cheesecake dessert. The decor was great, so pretty, and the staff was great as well. The only sore spot was the "foie gras boston creme pie." We wanted to be adventurous, but it was one of those "just because it's interesting/unique, doesn't mean it's good" situations. I almost gagged on it... would not recommend at all (and at $28 it wasn't a cheap adventure). I am still giving 5 stars overall since we really enjoyed it otherwise.

I really wanted to like this place, but it was just a big disappointment. The atmosphere is nice but the food and service is subpar. I will not go back. I watched a waiter bring my drink to another table right in front of me, have people talk over it, and then try to bring it to me to drink. I asked nicely to have my drink re-made, I watch them at the bar…little did they know I was watching the whole time, the manager actually brought back the same drink and lied about it…I paid my bill and left and will never return again!

Had an excellent dinner here! Plenty of great fish and steak options. The entrees were clearly the star of the show here with the bone-in ribeye, tuna, and Dover sole. It is definitely a pricey restaurant, but still comparable in that sense to most other steakhouses in Boston, in my opinion. My only major recommendation would be to stay wary of the sides. The olive oil tater tots were tasty, but you only get like, 5 of them and they’re pretty greasy. We also didn’t love the artichoke, which were quite salty and acidic. Would def get the chocolate soufflé again for dessert. Excellent choice.

My wife & I went for dinner, and we had a very very nice time. I would definitely recommend The Vermillion Club! We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, as well as the wine! The wine was excellent. We tried the French onion soup dumplings, and the Caesar salad. Enjoyed the Caesar salad more, it was great! I had a filet and my wife had the veal chop, we shared the carrots as well. All the food was delicious! The service was top notch, our server recommended some awesome wines, and we had a great experience here overall.

The space is a showstopper. Looks amazing from the street. The chihuly sculpture over the bar is showcased brilliantly. Great bar to have a drink and dessert. The maple pudding was one of the best things I’ve eaten in a long time. The steaks were perfectly fine. Food was good but not exceptional. Service really stood out. I would come back just for the ambiance and service.

High class, yet subtle establishment. Beautiful atmosphere—open concept with exquisite views nestled in the Financial District. For apps, we got the oysters and the French onion soup dumplings—both were very tasty. The steak you could cut with a butter knife which is a rarity. Didn’t even need sauce. Went here for my birthday and they treated me to a birthday drink and dessert. 🍸 🍨 The service was outstanding. Food and beverage insight was next level. Jonathan our server was wonderful! One of the best meals I’ve had in Boston in quite a long time. Come here, they won’t disappoint! I would take pictures of the food but we ate it all! 😋

Food was mostly excellent. Steak was wonderful. I may go back just for the tater tots and martini. The oyster shucker needs some training, would not recommend. Cocktails were excellent. The martini had an onion/pepper twist which was so unique. The atmosphere is fine for a corporate dinner but not for date night. Plenty of other options with good vibes for date night vs here. Service was trying too hard in some areas while lacking in others. The timing of courses was off and the table was regularly dirty between clears. All in all the food and cocktails really made up for the weird service and bad atmosphere.
