Mooo.... Seaport

First time but definitely not the last! Celebrated our 3rd anniversary here and from the host stand to server assistants everyone made us feel so welcome and taken care of. But it was our waiter, Brad, that stole the show. He was so accommodating, thoughtful, and took care of us and everything we needed before we could even ask. He was a delight and made us feel so special, and even brought out a special anniversary dessert of the milk and cookies (don’t skip those, easily the best chocolate chip cookies ever). This was by far the best dining experience we have ever had! The food was show stopping, we had the wagyu dumplings and truffle fries as apps and the filet and ribeye for our entrees, with broccolini and Yukon mashed potatoes for sides. Every bite was amazing and the meat was fresh and cooked to perfection. The bread was amazing as well- fresh, warm, soft on the inside with a little golden crisp on the outside. We were also very impressed with the extensive wine list, and with help from Brad we picked a bottle that will be a new staple for us. 10/10 experience, and we’ve already made plans to go back for our next visit. Easily best steakhouse in Boston, the atmosphere is amazing, the staff is very well trained and attentive, do not miss this place!

Appetizers: okay not exceptional except the bread. You will be addicted to the bread and the butter. Fluffy but crispy on the outer. Steak: very tender and juicy cut of meat. The wine and truffle sauce goes perfect with steak. Service: attentive and kind. I guess she was a little nervous when cutting the meat.

But it was Stefan Johnson who truly stole the show. His expert recommendations, from pairing oysters with Laurent-Perrier to suggesting a Faiveley Pinot Noir for my husband, elevated our dining experience to a whole new level. We were pleasantly surprised with the complimentary dessert wine, which was simply divine. This was our first time enjoying Moo Seport to the fullest, and it won't be our last. The unforgettable chocolate cake was the perfect ending to a truly memorable evening.

Our server Vanessa had amazing insight into the menu and gave great recommendations, and the General Manager Ian was very gracious and hospitable when making sure everything was to our liking. Will be coming back again and again, new favorite steak house in Boston!

Our server Vanessa had amazing insight into the menu and gave great recommendations, and the General Manager Ian was very gracious and hospitable when making sure everything was to our liking. Will be coming back again and again, new favorite steak house in Boston!

Came here for Valentine’s day and overall very good but not super happy with the steaks. Calamari for app, lobster mac, broccolini, and onion rings all great. We both ordered filets cooked medium, one came out medium rare and one medium well which was a bit disappointing for the price… I’ve always had the waiter at steakhouses ask us to cut into our steaks too to ensure cooked properly but they didn’t do that here. For a pricey and high end steak house the steaks need to come out perfect every time. $400 bill in the end not worth it.

This visit was excellent and definitely improved from last year. Our server, Chris, took excellent care of us. He checked in on us, gave great suggestions, and was around if we needed anything. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and hoped to get a nice table to chat over dinner. Instead, we’re seated at what looked like a kids table wedged between a couple that were literally a foot from my wife and her husband was sitting on the corner of the booth staring at us the entire time. To our right was a larger table that was so close, the waiter kept bumping our table when he dropped stuff off to the table. It was awkward having his behind hover beside me to squeeze in and turn sideways. We waited 25 minutes to put in our order in and debated leaving because it was also cold in there. We were seated by the windows. I noticed several people with coats and winter hats on — that created a weird look for a nice restaurant. The food was awesome and our server was very friendly. I’m not sure that I’d go back after being put at such a small table as an adult. The table should be removed from the floor — at least where it’s situated. We had to keep rearranging the table layout to make sure our server next door didn’t bump a glass off the table. We were going to ask them to turn the heat up (it was freezing in Boston) but the manager never stopped by our table. If it were a Friday night, I’d kind of get the delays etc. but a Monday night? We spent $300 and left saying, “yummy food - but not worth a second visit if we get stuck at the kids table again”…
