Customer Review Summary
The Stockyard Restaurant has received mixed reviews regarding its food quality. Many reviewers praised the ambiance and service, noting the great vibes and attentive staff. The bread served before the meal was particularly highlighted, with a crispy, buttery garlic top that many enjoyed. However, the burgers received negative feedback, being described as tasteless and disappointing, with one reviewer especially disliking the corn meal coating of the onion rings. The baked chicken was enjoyed by one spouse, while the mashed potatoes and asparagus were praised for their flavor. The steak dishes, including prime rib and ribeye, were generally well-received, with a fair price point for large portions. Some diners enjoyed the desserts, but others found the ice cream lacking in flavor. Overall, while there are food inconsistencies, the atmosphere and service contributed to a pleasant dining experience.

My spouse has eaten here and wanted me to try it. The bread they serve before your food comes out is fantastic. I'm not a bread person, but I at this. The top was crispy and coated with buttery garlic that was outstanding. I truly enjoyed it. The sesame toast was tasteless, not even sure why it was served together. My spouse got the oysters. Again not something I will eat, but my spouse loved them. I ordered a burger with rings from the waitresses' suggestion while my spouse got the baked 1/2 chicken. So, if you follow me, you know how many burgers I try. This was one of the worst burgers all around. It was absolutely tasteless. If you are charging me $20 for a burger, it better be good. Then you add the rings into the mix, which they bragged they make them in-house. I did not expect them to be corn meal coated. I ate one, and that was it. I'm just not a fan of rings in corn meal. I did try my spouse's meal as well. The bite of chicken I had why dry as could be. My spouse loved it. I did enjoy the mashed potatoes and asparagus. The potatoes were perfect and full of flavor. Same for the asparagus. I just wished they put as much into something so simple as a burger.

Great vibes!!! They also had a jazz trio that played very nice background music and were not annoying loud or anything Steak was good Salad was ok at best Mashed potatoes tasted very watery We should have skipped dessert I don’t believe the vanilla bean ice cream has actually seen a vanilla bean. It was a huge portion and we asked for extra chocolate sauce to add some flavor. So not the best food But def great vibes

Me and my significant other really enjoyed ourselves here the food was great the waiter we had was awesome and very tentative. Only thing I didn’t like is that you pay for a tomahawk steak but don’t receive the whole steak rather one portion side that has been cut up… but hey maybe I’m just greedy I do love steak this place still is great hands down.

I have not been to this place for a while but the food is better than it was before, the wait staff was great. They have a great bar, they have a draft beer by Brooklyn Brewery called Black Chocolate Stout. Now the food came out perfect they brought out the appetizers as ordered and when the final course came my steak was made perfect New York strip medium well. Great location easy to get to and they have parking plus they had a live band there playing some great jazz.

This is our go-to spot for prime rib! It is such a fair price, great portion and it never misses! They have a bar which is good for sports watching and socializing, but if you like to quietly indulge in the steaks they also have booth seatings which we always enjoyed. Their sides of baked potato, fries and their French onion soups are all our favorites. On days when we want something lighter we get their French dip. We never really strayed from these dishes so can’t comment on other dishes, but the prime rib, I can swear by it!

Stockyard been around a long time. Their steaks are always good. Excellent service. We had a dinner there with 9 friends. The price come to just under $100 per person. Most couples order their 32oz Tomahawk with 2 sides for only $95. Very good deal. Their ribeye and prime rib are also excellent. Most of their steaks are aged 45 days.

Although I ordered my burger medium well and it was just medium, it was delicious. The fries were perfectly salted and the pickle delectable! The waiter couldn't apologize enough for my burger not being as I ordered, and offered me a free dessert to make it up to me. I declined the dessert as I was too full to enjoy it.
