Always very consistent hibachi experience. The food is always fresh and good and the chefs do a great job of entertaining to make your meal a little more exciting. Great place to take kids for the experience or sit on the sushi side for more privacy.

Had lunch with a friend. The server was friendly and courteous but very professional and treated us with respect. When asked about the menu items, he was very knowledgeable and helpful. I had the steak and scallops with stir-fried vegetables and fried rice. We also had steamed dumplings and hot green tea served from a cast iron kettle. The food was great and the prices were reasonable. There is a saltwater aquarium in the entrance, and there are hibachi throughout the resultant where chefs will prepare your food in front of you.

We came to Fisher's for a swim meet and had a very enjoyable lunch at Koto. We came with a few other families so we had an entire table (Both Sides). They were extremely efficient and it wasn't hard for them to have 2 hibachi cooks at the same time. First of all, the staff was very friendly, from the hostess to the cooks. The food was good. I have been to tons of hibachi restaurants in my life and this one sits in the top 10% of them. The restaurant, in itself, was nice and had a huge welcoming fishtank. The next time we come, we will definitely be back since hibachi has become a swim team ritual 😆

Had lunch there today. Great service, delicious food. Kept us entertained. Had extra food to pass around, very generous. Very clean bathrooms. Left my wallet, and a hostess(?) was kind enough to find it for me while they were closed and brought it out to me. Definitely a must try for everything mentioned and a great atmosphere.

Ordered a salad and sushi. Delivered by GrubHub. The salad Koto sent was inedible. It was brown and slimy. Called the restaurant. Only way to make it right was to report it to GrubHub and then have GrubHub deliver another salad - or bring the salad in and they would give us another salad. This wasn't GrubHub's fault and taking the salad in defeats the whole purpose ordering in. Won't be ordering from them again or frequenting the restaurant.

My family lives around the corner, and so we have eaten here over the years quite frequently. The last four times we’ve managed to get the same chef, and every time our food just sits in a bath of vegetable oil. We’ve made mention multiple times, and yet again it’s happened this last and final fourth time. The food is literally inedible. The rice just tastes of vegetable oil and soy sauce. The steak tastes like vegetable oil and salt. The chef is absolutely terrible. I spoke with Abel and although this time they comp’ed one of five meals, he said they’d let the chef know but that “every chef cooks differently”. No apology and nothing addressing the fact the 3 other meals tasted exactly the same. They also make sure to force the 20% gratuity on family parties of 5. Real slap in the face on top of the terribly cooked food. Good luck with that, we won’t be coming back.

Koto is a great place for hibachi and sushi. The atmosphere is chic, staff are friendly and it is a fun place. We have been a few times and each time have had a positive experience. The hibachi chefs are engaging and relate well with all ages. This is a great place for families or dates. Also good for special occasions if you want a fun, upbeat experience and don’t mind the noise that comes with it.
