The Capital Grille

Came to dine with friends. Nice relatively quiet atmosphere with great service from Margaret(?). Really enjoyed everything- I got the restaurant week special of the sliced filet and opted for mashed potatoes but had some creamed spinach from my friend. Lobster bisque was good- a little too thick for my liking but the actual add-ins and complementary sherry were both tasty. Oysters were great appetizers for a celebration. Split the desserts to try both the cheesecake and the espresso cake. Would return if given an opportunity to splurge with friends in the area again.

We went for Thanksgiving this year and so glad we did. I cannot express enough that this was the best turkey I have ever had. My mother was with me and she thought the same. Everything with the meal was phenomenal. My wife had the filet and lobster tail which was perfect also. We did have the dressing but didn’t get a pic of it which was great. We’ve been to Capital Grille in other cities and never have we left disappointed. This particular downtown Chicago location sits in a great location to everything which we loved. We also loved the ambiance and the staff gave us the WOW treatment. We will be back!

My husband had a wonderful birthday dinner at the capital grille. Every single item we picked off the menu was delicious! The staff was AMAZING! Hayley was our server and she’s the absolute best! It’s a 10/10 for me. Would totally recommend.

The Porcini-Rubbed Bone-In Ribeye was actually incredible and it paired well with our chosen sides. If we’re ever in Chicago ago, we will be back!

And our waiter, David Fletcher, was amazing and so was the food!!! We ordered the following: Drinks - In Fashion (Old Fashion) and the Passion Fruit Mojito Food - Seared Tenderloin with Butter Poached Lobster Tails and Pan Seared Sea Bass Chiitake Mushroom Asparagus with Miso Butter Dessert - Flourless Chocolate Espresso Cake and Capital Grille Cheesecake Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!

The steaks were cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and exactly how I ordered them. The service was equally impressive, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure everything was just right.

Really nice place, the server lady was very attentive and all the employees are really nice. I loved their salads and stake was medium on the little chewy side but it tasted good. We had desert as well and they were truly top notch.
