We had an amazing experience at Steak 48 over the weekend. We made reservations on a Saturday for a birthday dinner. I called ahead of time to ask what special things they could do and they informed me for additional charge you can order flowers and rose petals for the table. Along with a birthday card from the restaurant. I requested all of the above and they did not miss. The food was delicious- perfectly cooked and full of flavors. The service was top-notch, with staff being attentive and friendly. Everyone was awesome ! I felt truly welcomed and well taken care of throughout the meal. Highly recommend this steakhouse for anyone looking for a great dining experience! You will not be disappointed! 10/10 experience !

We couldn’t remember the name or location! Every year, we searched for it—until pure coincidence led us back in 2025. The moment we walked in, we knew we had finally found it. From the moment we were seated, everything was just as amazing as we remembered. Our waitress, Olivia, was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and truly enhanced our dining experience. The floor manager, kris, personally introduced himself and made us feel genuinely welcome. And the food? Absolutely phenomenal. The steaks, served sizzling on a hot plate, were cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor in every bite. Everything—from the salad to the sides—was exceptional. Steak 48 is now officially a tradition for us, and we will be returning every time we’re in Chicago. If you’re looking for an incredible steakhouse with top-notch service, an elegant atmosphere, and unforgettable food, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

This spot has definitely set the bar high for a fancy dinner steak night. They were so good I came back 2 nights later. The buttered NY steak was perfect, juicy and seasoned well. I ordered the loaded baked potatoe as a side and it was HUGE with thick bacon chunks. The parmesan bread was fresh and served hot. Presentation was on point and staff was wonderful, I sat at the bar both times and had great conversations with the staff. Will definitely be back, next time I visit.

I also had vanilla cake on a decorated birthday plate. The food was excellent. My bill was about $340 2 cocktails, an appetizer, and one entree.My first time, but I would go again. I wore a skirt. A collared shirt is appropriate.

She was attentive, lively, and made this dinner celebration special. The food was top notch, the atmosphere was luxurious and the chefs table seating was a surprise at arrival. The dessert tree was the finale of the nite. Thank you all and we look forward to visiting and requesting Amber who went above and beyond on my birthday.

Ok, I very rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to do so after the exceptional service we received. For context, we've been coming here for 4 years for our anniversary (we live in Milwaukee). Every time, the food and service have been excellent. This time, our server was Yazmin. She was so amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure our experience was beyond our expectations. They also gave us a gift and handwritten card! I know they do this for others, but they really make you feel like you're their favorite guest.

Don't let me get started on the dessert cause OMG. The ambiance of the place was just as fancy as the prices on the menu 🤣. I believe this was the most expensive meal I have ever spent for my husband and I, but it was our 13th wedding anniversary, so it was worth it. They also gave us a free set of champagne glasses, which was so nice. We will definitely be returning again one day, just not anytime soon because I'm broke now 🤣🤣... See you again Walker, hopefully you're still around. 🥰

Went there yesterday and what a wonderful experience. They had a birthday card waiting for me at the table. Service was exceptional, our server Matthew was kind and professional. Steaks were served on 500 degree plate and were amazing. Thank you Steak 48 for a memorable evening, we will definitely visit you again soon.
