Impressive Stuff

Had lunch here during the restaurant week. Great service, atmosphere and food! The wedge salad, oysters and deviled eggs were so good - better than what I remember from other restaurants. The salmon dish together with the broccoli was a bit too charred in my opinion but the taste was good. The carrot cake was served warm and it was so good that we literally said "wow" after taking a bite; but it was too sweet for me. Overall we were impressed by the experience!

A great girls night out on Friday. Made reservations for 3 at 5:45 the day before and got a cozy booth in the bar near the impressive floor to ceiling wine racks. Not too noisy. Our server was fabulous. The food was outstanding. I like that you can go casual or dressy, and that there are several affordable options. We split several starters and dessert and each had the amazing corn chowder soup. An easy walk to the Auditorium Theatre, the Art Institute, Millennium Park, etc. Highly recommend the filet sliders!

Food was spectacular! We dined closer to closing time and the service was still great. The Lobster Deviled Eggs didn't seem to have a lot of lobster in it. Just deviled eggs. Still delicious. The Tuna Poke was delicious. Do not skip the Spaetzle Mac and Cheese. One of the best takes on Mac and cheese I've ever had and it did not disappoint.

Don’t miss this place! The filet mignon was superior; tender and flavorful with a nice crust on the outside. It was served with a loaded baked photo. The filet sliders were heavenly, consisting of small brioche buns with that same delicious filet and a blue cheese spread inside. I literally sat back in my chair after every bite and relished every chew. The ricotta with tomato said and ricotta was tasty with homemade pasta and a nice, rich ragu. And the cornbread…..WOW. Moist and delicious, served in a small cast iron skillet with a crunchy maple crust on top, served with butter. By the time I pulled myself away from it to take a photo, it was almost gone. The fries were thin and crisp and served with a creamy garlic dip that made them great. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the burrata salad. The salad and the burrata were good separately but did not complement each other together at all. The ambiance was modern but comfortable and you can dress casually. Definitely worth a visit.

Just had the most amazing meal here. Succulent scallops with a red pepper sauce and turnip mash. My hubby had a burger and I snagged some of his delicious crispy tasty fries. I highly recommend. The staff were wonderful and attentive.

Steak n Shake fries. Chicken tasted like it touched fish oil. Sliders were okay. Convenience due to city placement. Nice staff. Subpar prices to quality of food. Might try them again as a whole, but I like flavor

Excellent meal. My ribeye was cooked perfectly and so flavorful. The charred broccoli is a hidden gem on the menu. The artichoke spinach dip and chips was a tasty appetizer. I also enjoyed the short rib rigatoni, but my wife only thought it was okay. That one has a unique taste that might not be for all. Would definitely visit again.

Excellent service. Waiting time for your food (from order to eat) was less than 20 minutes. I ordered an all-American burger for $18. Everything inside was tasty, except buns.
