This restaurant has a great atmosphere and excellent customer service including our waiter and waitress. They were absolutely amazing, attentive and informative. The food was so delicious, I wanted more. But the dessert was just as good!!! This is a great date night place or pop the question to your girlfriend.

Easily the most disappointing restaurant experience of my trip to Chicago. The service was HORRIBLE.. (a vast difference from the service I received at Nobu earlier for brunch) It took a while for anyone to acknowledge me, even longer to get my food, and my drink was never refilled. Now onto the food. I ordered a full-size Caesar salad, but what I received was more like a half portion. On top of that, the greens weren’t fresh and crisp like you’d expect from a “fine dining” restaurant… they were wilted, which was unacceptable. Now.. the lobster linguine. I could tell the pasta was made fresh from the texture, but it was terrible. It tasted like they didn’t let the dough rest properly, which affects the overall quality. I barely touched my meal, as you can see in the photo. Service wise, it was terrible. Maybe my experience was different because I was dining alone as a Black woman… maybe there was an assumption I wouldn’t tip, or maybe the service here is just bad across the board. Either way, I was disappointed. I used to live in 90212, within walking distance of the BH location, but never had the urge to try it. I figured I’d give it a shot since I’m staying at the London House for a conference. I will not be dining at Ocean Prime again. The service was awesome! There was a martini I tried that I ended up not liking, and the server took the initiative of taking it back (& off the bill) and got me something else. That was pretty cool. Loved the dim lit ambiance of the place and my steak was cooked to perfection! Loved everything about this place & I look forward to coming back soon.

Ask for Charlie! He was awesome and so was Lin! My husband and I stopped in tonight for dinner. Service was amazing and the food was delicious. If you love truffle, caviar, and deviled eggs - try their deviled eggs! I had the blackened snapper and I will be coming back for that same meal 🙌 Everyone was so kind. Thank God for the valet. Easy in and out.

Elevated, fine dining located on E. Wacker Dr. and Michigan Ave. Proper dress and etiquette are required. We made dinner reservations here this Friday night because my husband wanted a good steak. They have inside and outside seating based on your preference (Seems that the patio seating is more relaxed than indoors... indoors is on the second floor). As stater, we had their 'Chop Chop Salad'. As entree, we tried their '8 oz Filet, topped with Bleu Cheese Crust' and 'Chicken Entree' with a side of 'Truffle Mac & Cheese', accompanied by a glass of wine. The steak was tender and simply delicious. The restaurant is beautiful, with great views of the river and city. Our server, Gabriel, was very attentive and helpful with the menu. He made sure to check up on us often. The manager came to our table to greet us and make sure we were satisfied with our visit. Overall, we had an excellent dinner experience here and enjoyed a delicious steak.

I visited a few days ago for Restaurant week. The views and ambience are perfect. Our server Jessica was very attentive and pleasant. And the food was delicious! Not a single complaint about anything. You’ll be thoroughly pleased with your visit to this location.

I love Ocean prime and have dined at almost all the locations. This one is consistent across the chain. Berries and bubbles and a prime roll are the perfect start to any evening. Not much to say other than perfect as always.
