My overall experience is 5/5. I would come back again. My family and I stopped in for an early dinner (4:30pm). The restaurant was not crowded yet which was our hope since we have 2 small kids. Our server, Jeff, was wonderful from start to finish 5/5. He just happened to be at the host stand when we arrived and led us to our seats too. He provided recommendations and we enjoyed our meal. Around the table we had the regular calamari 3/5, oysters 5/5, salads 5/5, the stuff salmon 5/5, Atlantic salmon 5/5, the lamb shank 4/5, creme brûlée 5/5, and cheesecake 5/5. The drinks were also good, we had a strawberry lemon drop 5/5, the perfect margarita 5/5, and the smoke and spice 4/5.

I went during restaurant week because the prices couldn't be beat. If you get a chance next year, go. The food was fabulous. As were the drinks. This was my first experience with Waygu beef Steak Frites, and this dish did not disappoint. I can't wait until next year due Chicago Restaurant Week to roll around again. I hope the participate.

My wife and I made a reservation for dinner on a Saturday in September. When we arrived there was plenty of seating available. We requested one of the booths and they sat us there. We both ordered a Patron Margherita and then ordered the 50 year jubilee and selected an item from the 3 courses as shown in the menu picture. I ordered the Clam Chowder, Crab and Shrimp Stuffed Halibut and Upside down candied walnut apple pie. My wife ordered the Lobster bisque, Lobster Carbonara and the apple pie. Everything we had here was excellent and the service was really good. I’m not giving this restaurant a 5 star for one reason. I didn’t notice this issue until right now when I’m writing the review, but they did not simply state on the receipt that we both ordered the 50 year jubilee for $50 each, instead they charged us separately for each item which caused it to be more than the 50 year Jubilee price. You will see every item on our receipt matches the items on the Jubilee menu, so I don’t know why they did this when we specifically ordered from the Jubilee menu and the server asked what we wanted for each course. Of course the margarita’s are separate, I’m not complaining about that. I don’t know if we will go back again for the reason above but everything was good, so ignoring what happened above, I’d recommend this place.

The King crab legs were a healthy size. The Mahi Mahi was just the right amount of buttery and flakey and tender. The cherry wood smokey Manhatten was smokey smoothe. The service was very good.

We dined outside and the weather was perfect. Oysters and Ahi Tuna appetizers hit the spot. The salmon was delicious with sweet notes which was different than any others I've tried. Scallops cooked to perfection. The Chilean Seabass was probably the favorite meal at the table. Cooked perfectly, melted in your mouth and so flavorful.

A classic restaurant with a menu full of options, good prices, and excellent service. The absolute highlight is the "Chocolate Bag" dessert—wonderful! 10/10.

Huge portion but not that tasty. The steak was a generous portion but the meat was stringy and it was over seasoned. The broccoli was cooked really well. The chocolate desert was just too sweet. I would order again, it also arrived 40 mins late….

The service is great, the personnel are very welcoming and attentive. There is variety in the menu which gives you excellent dish options. Entrées are perfect for awakening the palate and the meat is such a perfect option for a joyful meal. For dessert I do recommend the chocolate truffle cake; a combination of texture and chocolate flavor.
