Q is an amazing captain! He was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, efficient, and so fun! My girl had the best birthday party ever. Beautiful atmosphere. Perfect service from the entire staff. This has been on my bucket list of restaurants to go to ever since I heard about it. The restaurant is beautiful! I'm not sure how the do their acoustics however the music was loud over the crowd yet I could still very easily converse with my dinner companion without having to raise our voices or any difficulty hearing each other. The restaurant was packed! The service was top notch! I have never received such excellent service anywhere. The whole staff was attentive, polite, professional, very welcoming and highly efficient. I'm not a drinker however they served us a Grey Goose Martini gratis and it was luscious. We ordered the tasting menu because I wanted to sample as much of their food possible and I wasn't disappointed. The octopus was perfectly cooked. The steak melted in your mouth. And the dessert they brought out with homemade ice cream of vanilla, strawberry and chocolate with 3 tiers of toppings really finished the meal off divinely. If you're looking for a magnificent fine dining experience with a smart, contemporary vibe that isn't "stuffy" like most fine dining experiences, this is the place to go. I will be back!

Maple & Ash sets the standard for fine dining. The service is outstanding! Our server was on top of it all night. From the wine recommendation to the napkin folding whenever we left the table. On top of the service, the food was excellent. It started with a complimentary cocktail and French onion dip topped with caviar. Then we moved to onion soup, wedge salad, and the roasted mushrooms. But the real star of the show was the Baller Seafood Tower. Every piece was roasted to perfection and covered in a garlic butter. Lastly, we ended the night with the chocolate cake and roasted apple galette. This is one of the best spots in Chicago. A must for anyone with excellent taste.

Absolutely amazing. We received a complimentary welcome beverage and appetizer. My first trying caviar and it was delicious. The seafood tower, chicken/biscuits, lobster toast, surf and turf and roasted oysters were a hit. The atmosphere was stunning.. Christmas in November! Our waiter was excellent as well.

Pretty much impossible to miss at Maple & Ash! Enjoyed a lovely holiday atmosphere and perfect brunch, including cappuccino, shrimp and grits, thick cut bacon, Brussels sprouts, and coconut cream pie. We had excellent service and an amazing time overall. Worth treating yourself - and a friend!!
