Fantastic Happy Hour Experience at Lure Fishbar - Chicago! We had a wonderful time at Lure Fishbar during their happy hour (every day from 4 PM to 6 PM, including weekends). Our server, Alex, was excellent—attentive, friendly, and made sure we had a great experience. Ashley, the manager, was also very welcoming and professional. The Blue Point oysters were a steal at just $2 each, and they were absolutely delicious! I also had the clam chowder, which was rich and flavorful. I tried the Kenai roll with sushi salmon—it was good, but next time, I’d probably skip the rolls and stick to oysters. Paired everything with a glass of champagne—perfection! The restaurant has a beautiful design and a great atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. Parking can be a bit tricky, but it’s worth it. Plus, the building also houses a hotel with a stunning free art exhibition spread across two floors—definitely worth checking out! Highly recommend visiting Lure Fishbar—especially for happy hour!

This place was selected as a surprise bday dinner for a friend. The atmosphere is very nice. Food was plated well. Very good service. [Downside we took our friend's 13 year old and didn't look ahead at the menu. There was no "children's menu"... fortunately she has a big appetite].

This was a wonderful experience! Richard our server was charming and helpful. Menu is extensive on the fish side which I loved. We tried several rolls. Sashimi and the Asian Snapper. Everything was amazing. The wine list is also impressive, don’t forget the sake! The decor was really inviting and seating comfortable. We will definitely be back.

My friends and I came here for happy hour over the weekends and were sat at the table. I would say this would be among the lower tier of happy hour in chicago with the highlight being that it’s offered on a weekend. We tried all the happy hour menu and my favorite were the house roll, kenai roll, shrimp po’boy, and my friends enjoyed the oysters. The service was not great, at times we struggled to find our waiter and get our order in. Hopefully it’s just one off instance.

This spot offers plenty of options for sushi and non sushi/seafood lovers. One of our favorite items were the signature oysters and Miso Salmon. I was really looking forward to the crispy rice but unfortunately due to my crustacean allergy, our server was very informative letting me know that they use the same fryer for shrimp/lobster items. I’m hoping that in the near future would certainly recommend to have two separate frying dishes separately for seafood items and fries etc. Overall service was great we certainly enjoyed our food.

We stopped in here while waiting for our daughter to deliver her baby at NW Hospital near by. We were seated at a great table with out reservations! The food was amazing and the service was even better. Great atmosphere and so welcoming! Baby came about 3 hours after we left the restaurant😅 We plan on making it an annual dinner celebration on her birthday 🎉

I had been wanting to try this place for awhile and Chicago restaurant week was the perfect time to do so! The restaurant is beautiful and the service was great. I wish I would’ve taken pictures of the clam chowder and shrimp tempura, but both were excellent. My husband had the burger (which he said was good) and I had the pan roasted chicken. The fries were the best I’ve had in awhile and everything tasted very fresh. The chicken wasn’t dry at all and I enjoyed the fact that the end of the bone was cleaned (nice touch). The vegetables were of good quality, cooked just to my liking and overall I had no complaints. The waitress made a minor mistake when we ordered and the chef went out of his way to make it right. It was an honest mistake and we didn’t expect anything out of it, but I loved the kind gesture. I didn’t order a cocktail but I will definitely come back to do so!

Stoped in to grab a small dinner/snack due to having late dinner reservations at another restaurant. We split a salad and each got a bowl of clam chowder. Food was fine the Cesar salad was actually really good. Everything was great until we went to pay the bill. Our waitress K had an attitude when we told her that we were using a discount card (21%off due to staying at the hotel associated with the restaurant). Then when she took the bill with the card we had told her that we would be splitting the bill between the two of us she laughed out loud as she walked away. The restaurant was dead maybe 5 other tables during prime dinner hour. We were in the restaurant maybe 35 minutes. The waitress blatant disrespect is not worth going even with a discount card. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else unless you plan on spending more than $23.83 a person with a 22% tip for 30min of service because that isn’t good enough.
