I had the best night ever! Alex our waiter was amazing and really made our experience a magical one. The food is really nice. The place breathes history and you can see many old pics on the walls telling so many stories. It was our last night in Chicago and we loved it! Thank you for everything!

Gene & Georgetti’s is a rare gem—just a total Chicago classic without any of the pretentious vibes. Great drinks, amazing steak, and the kind of old-school atmosphere where you half expect Al Capone to walk in at any minute lol. If it’s not already on your list, add it!

Gene & Georgetti served up one of the best porterhouse steaks that we have ever experienced. It was absolutely perfect! We loved the overall history and atmosphere of this place in general, plus the service was outstanding. It is a must visit restaurant in Chicago, and we actually preferred it here to Gibson's Steakhouse.

Gene & Georgetti has lasted for 80+ years for a reason. Known as an old school spot in Chicago where legends like Frank Sinatra used to enjoy a meal, this place delivered well beyond my expectations. Sometimes I worry about quality and consistency when going to a place like this, but they are experts in their craft in both the service and the food. Our waiter Alex was phenomenal, gave a perfect rundown of the menu, was attentive, and made for a great experience. As for the food we split a Florentine Steak as a table and it was perfectly cooked, melt in your mouth tender with amazing flavor. I would also recommend the calamari, the Tortellini en Brodo, and the Brussel Sprouts. The only miss for us was the creamed spinach, it was just a bit too runny. For dessert get the Chocolate Cake and tiramisu and you’ll be set. Fantastic spot to take guests from out of town, and it’s super cozy vibe that is great for a winter meal!

An esteemed Italian steakhouse with an affable and solicitous server. The New York strip and filet mignon were prepared flawlessly to medium-rare. The house-made spaghetti is simply delightful. The restaurant's classic ambiance evokes a nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of the 1950s.

This is probably my fifth trip to this unbelievably cozy and unique Chicago establishment! Never a dull moment and the food is excellent! The staff is excellent but ask for Nader. He will make your experience a very memorable one!
