Chicago Cut Steakhouse

We had never been anywhere like this before. I don't even have words..... it was simply eccentric, elegant, and fabulous. I'm so grateful that we got to experience this place. Me and my fiancé had steaks that cut like butter and cooked to perfection. The cake, the apps, the food. Incredible!!! Highly recommend and hopefully in a year we can come back and celebrate marriage and not just the proposal.

If I could, I would give them 10 stars. We came here for me and my husband’s wedding. We eloped in a very small ceremony downtown Chicago and with little notice they were able to accommodate us in a private room with the amazing service of Joseph. This dining experience was truly the best we’ve ever had. I can’t put into words how much me and our family enjoyed this past Saturday. The views of Chicago and Chicago river from this room were breathtaking, the service was impeccable and the food just out of this world. Joseph, thank you so much for taking such good care of us. Everything between making conversation with everyone, taking our pictures, helping us to choose our food and remembering everyone’s name and cracking jokes, this man did it all! We just can’t wait to come back!

Loved bringing my 12 yr old son for his birthday. Easy to find, valet parking right out front, and table was ready as soon as we arrived. Reservation strongly encouraged. We came on a Friday evening and it was at capacity. We sat outside to enjoy the view and even though the day was somewhat windy, they do have heaters out. Our waiter Patrick was amazing. He took the time to educate my son on non-alcoholic mock tails, steak cuts and made the perfect food recommendations. Our favorite was the appetizer Lobstercargot. Dessert is complementary for special occasions. My son opted for the chocolate cake. Overall it was a great night and we’ll definitely come back.

The restaurant is located in a great spot with a beautiful setting at night. The service is always top-notch. I got the bone in ribeye and oysters (East Coast), and it was a perfect combination. The steak was buttery and flavorful

You just can't beat a delicious steak sandwich overlooking the river in the heart of Chicago on a nice day. The outside seating was perfect and truly enjoyable. The service was excellent, and the lunch was outstanding. The quality of the steak was amazing, and it went really well with their house red wine. Also, the fries were great, along with the sashimi appetizer. Our server Sophia was exceptional! A true professional who cared about the quality of service that she provided to each customer. Her personable approach and knowledge of the menu made our decision process easy. She was a bright personality with great energy. Truly a gem! I look forward to coming back soon!

Julian provided fantastic service, had great recommendations, and went above and beyond throughout the entire meal. The Managing Partner Matthew Moore stopped by the table to ensure we had a great experience, which was a wonderful added experience. Now to food. For appetizer, my wife and I got the Lobstercargot and the triple cut bacon. Both were outrageously delicious. For entrees, my wife got the Beef Wellington on special, and I got "The Holy Grail" their 32 oz prime rib. They were both incredible. To top off the experience, we were gifted a piece of their scrumptious chocolate cake for our wedding anniversary we were celebrating. A very nice touch to end our incredible experience. This is simply the best steakhouse in the city, and I definitely will be returning soon. Will be recommending to all my family and friends. I also want to shout out to the incredible hosting and bussing staff, as they also greatly enhanced our experience.

Great experience! Great ambience! Great service! Just a wonderful date night. The food is a little salty however my palette maybe a lil sensitive due to being on a somewhat low sodium restriction diet. The scallop potatoes are definitely on the salty side.

My companion and I decided to wait half an hour for an outdoor table, so we sat by the bar where I enjoyed a glass of wine. To my surprise, we didn’t even wait a full 30 minutes before the bar staff greeted us and informed us that our table was ready. The host even offered to take my glass of wine outside for me, which was a gesture that truly impressed me. Every steak cut offered here is just AMAZING and bursting with flavor.
